“We have stopped there 3 different times, ordered 3 different types of breakfasts & was amazed every time. The meals are well portioned & we had some leftovers. The food tasted like Grandma cooked it.Parking: Plenty of free of parking spots“
“Enjoyed a “Build Your Own Slam” for a solo breakfast at Denny’s on Granada in Ormond Beach on a fine Saturday morning. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated because they couldn’t see me standing behind the sign near the door. Next time I’ll stand by the register instead. My server Diane was great. Always smiling, quick, and thoughtful. I ordered the pancakes, sausage links, hash browns and eggs and it all came out perfectly. Added a little ketchup and Cholula which was on the table, plus maple syrup for the flapjacks. Everything was delicious and I left happy. I’ve been to this Denny’s many times and it never disappoints.Parking: It’s easy to park near the door“
“We took my parents here yesterday since they were from out of town. We'd been here once before and loved it.It was just as great as it was when we first checked it out. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the prices were reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the coffee mugs are huge!Definitely check this one out if you're looking for some great food and atmosphere?“
“This place is exactly what I needed and then some. I am a breakfast person who wants some of everything but since I am on a budget I asked for the smallest portions of my two favorite biscuit and sausage gravy, and 1 pancake. The food was out to me before I could even tap my foot once. The sausage was perfectly creamy and just enough sausage in small delightful pieces that were the perfect texture. The pancake could've been eaten without syrup and the real butter I was served. It was also thick and fluffy and just sweet enough. I loved that the staff all said hello tp each other very cheerfully as they came in and every customer seemed to be a friend. The tables were clean and so was the silverware, where I am from that alone is a win. Also, the coffee was fresh and hot. Highly recommended this place.“
“I Love Metro's...from MD down to FL. Your always guaranteed a great meal and good service and a comfortable atmosphere. The other day our waitresss Chloe was the best and today Sarah was great. We even had a small issue that when brought to their attention they immediately resolved and we're appreciative of that type of dedication. If you can catch the Carrot Cake Griddle I highly recommend it before it's no longer on the menu. Me personally I could eat it everyday. Stop in for a bite and leave happy. Sidenote: whomever does their shirt slogans is a genius lol.“
“One of the better diners in the area. Clean with that family feel. Busy but not packed to the point of being a pain. Which is a good thing. Lots of people going must mean good food at good prices. More food choices than most with large portions at a bit better pricing than most other diners. Enough tables and staff to get people seated at a reasonable time during the busier times. Wait staff is attentive and never left us wanting. Large parking lot with easy in and out. Looking for a diner? This place will not disappoint.“
“Wow, what a cool little gem of a restaurant we stumbled across while driving around. We wanted to try something local while on vacation. We drove past, then decided to turn around and give it a shot. We were not disappointed. I got the cowboy burger. My daughter got the meatloaf. Both were good, but the meatloaf was insanely good. My burger was huge, too. Out of everything we ate in Florida, this place was up on our list. If we ever go back to daytona, we will definitely stop by for breakfast.“
“We were shopping nearby and decided to try this place and we were pleasantly surprised because you know breakfast is breakfast. Well this is way better than all the breakfast places in the area. Best scrambled eggs, sausage link, biscuits and gravy, soup. You know when it's homemade food when you taste that food. One heck of a good breakfast!“
“Worth the wait. Left with a full belly at a reasonable price. You are asked to be seated by hostess, even at counter but those who ignored the request benefitted by faster service but what the hell, live like you were raised and just enjoy your days on earth. Staff was friendly food great.“
“We were there around midnight. And our waitress that was there was the best she had the wonderful happy smile. She made sure everything was alright the way we ordered it went above and beyond. The chef back there also made sure we were getting a good experience as well and asked if everything was okay. I told her it was magnificent and I'm not a big Denny's fan at all. I honestly can't even remember the last time I went to a Denny's it's probably been over a decade. But I do have to say I was very impressed with the service and the food. My compliments to the chef and my compliments to the manager that hired a wonderful waitress unfortunately I don't remember her name but she was just the sweetest pumpkin pie. ??????✌?✌?✌????“
“Boy, Do I love this little restaurant. It is forever busy and only open until 2 pm so you really have to hustle to be there early. Well, even when you're early you might still have to wait. Patrons do not give up their seats quite readily. The place is always jammed to capacity and the servers are always in the weeds.(restaurant talk for not enough time or someone else to help out) BUT these ladies are AMAZING. They do their jobs well. I really appreciate them for how busy they are. Now, the food. Such good food. They serve it the way you want it. They are very accommodating about this. Unfortunately, these servers have to split their tips so please tip well. No, do not think you can slip one an extra tip because they will get FIRED for that. Prices are exceptional $ Customers are friendly. Everyone likes to talk to one another. And while you're waiting for a table to open, Did I mention first come first served? Yep, We (me included) watch for a table or booth like a vulture ready to strike HAHA Support your Local businesses please“
