Honestly I was looking forward to coming here to get the experience that I had when it was recommended by friends. Getting sat at a table was fast and effortless but being a larger person the bench seats are super uncomfortable as it feels like you are constantly having to push yourself back onto the bench. Then the wait…it took 10-15 mins at a not busy time (there was maybe 1 or 2 other tables sat when we walked in) just to get our drink order. Good food for the most part minus the bean I received in my enchiladas which were gritty and thin (although my wife said the side of beans she got was not like that at all). But after all that the kicker is…a side of rice for $4. Now I know rice is a VERY cheap thing to make (approximately $25 for 30lbs not counting cilantro and limes) but when I receive maybe 1/4 cup of rice for that cost where every other Mexican eatery I’ve ever been to gives at least a full cup or close to it, that’s not ok. Then I asked to speak to the manager about this and instead of coming and speaking with me sends me a side of rice in a Togo package. Umm sorry I’m already done eating I don’t need rice to go just for them to take it off the order at payment. So just keep in mind that if you order a side of rice don’t expect much for the cost that it is. Because at the cost of $4 I expect that amount of moneys amount of rice.

Nachos were okay you get a lot of nachos for the price. Horchata was severely overpriced I’ve had better for less than half the price. Beans are okay just a bit gritty. And the rice don’t even get me started you get like a quarter cup of rice for almost $4. And the rice is extremely over cooked. Waitress took forever to get our drink order taken and was not great at making sure the refills were timely.

Came in for the first time, sat in the patio. I was on my way to Frida's (which I've been to many times and love) but saw this place, looked cute and decided to check it out. To start I order the Cadillac jumbo margaritas a queso fundido and a bean dip. All good till Jesus brought in the bean dip. It was not bean, it was not bean at all. It was cheese with a splash of bean. I told him that's not what I wanted. I wanted beans (as I have had at many other Mexican places. That looked more like queso dip, I've already ordered queso fundido, why would I want queso dip also?) Jesús replied " I'm charging you for that dip anyways" not even sorry for the confusion or anything like that, just straight up " I'm charging you " like I'm worry about a measly $8, which I paid anyways even though I didn't touch it. zero empathy or customer service skills. I had not even thought about the money part of it yet, just the fact that I wanted bean and was brought in queso. I asked to speak with the manager, he said he was the manager. (Has no management skills whatsoever) I said close my check and left on principle. I was gonna have the mar y tierra and my wife was gonna have the mixed fajitas. Would have spent about $200 with food, drinks and tip. Instead I closed the check at $ 57, left and never coming back.

Me and my wife have came here several times. Tonight we have had the best service we’ve ever had from a young lady named Lillian.Fantastic service, not overwhelming, but paid close attention to anything that we needed.

This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant first of all it took five minutes for me to get sat like I get it. It’s a Saturday afternoon, but at the end of the day you don’t even acknowledge people that are at your facility, there were people that came in after me that were served before me sat there for 10 minutes didn’t even get acknowledged that I was even a customer Needing to order I will never come back here again and I will make sure that if I do need to stop somewhere it will not be this place. The waitress made sure to serve all the men first before she even looked at me. I never got a server no hi how are you? I didn’t even get a water they never came over to see if I needed anything. I never got a chance to order I will never come back here. This was the worst experience ever.

The food was OK, and the service was not attentive. However, the atmosphere, both inside and out, is very attractive and enjoyable.

This is our second time here and again they did not disappoint..this is now mine and my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant in Ormond Beach (so far). The food is delicious, the service was great, and a nice relaxing and chill atmosphere. I had the Super Burrito ? and a taco ? and my husband had the La Bandera Super Burrito ? and a taco ?. As well as the BEST Queso and tortilla chips ?

MY WATER WAS SERVED TO ME IN A DIRTY GLASS. My Heuvos Rancheros was pitiful. Flavorless rice, $13 for 2 extra small eggs with salty mild sauce. NEVER AGAIN.

We have dined here on numerous occasions and it has always been pretty good with reasonable prices. Not so much any more. Happy Hour $9 house wine and $8 margaritas; $15 Beef Burrito; $2 for extra sour cream which used to be less than $1. Burrito had at least a tablespoon of grease seeping out onto plate. Black beans seemed like they were right out of the can - no seasoning and seemingly not having cooked very long and served in a disposable carry-out container . Hubby’s $15 Burria Chimichanga had no flavor. Sorry I don’t have photos to post. New seating on patio is very shallow, so larger or taller people would have to work at staying on the bench ? Server was polite and provided good service, but we won’t be back…

I was preparing for my evening and I wanted something simple, so I called and ordered a burrito, which was outrageously priced first and foremost, and I was hesitant then, but I still decided to commit to the single $20 burrito -because I was wanted something simple that I could eat with my hands. I arrived and picked up the package, which seemed surprisingly light for such a substantial pricetag… only to go sit down and open the package to see an upside down and open burrito arranged in a way that it could not possibly be picked up without the contents just spilling out, impossible to eat with your hands. I returned to show the salesperson this ridiculous and expensive burrito and rather than being apologetic he threatened to fight me, saying “don’t ever come at me like that or else…” in disbelief at his rudeness I said “come at you?! I’m telling you this burrito is ridiculous.” I will never eat at this establishment again.Bad service.

¡No me gusta! After 40 years of eating Mexican at some 200+ Mexican restaurants across the US and Mexico, this was hands-down the WORST. Portions were pathetic and price was excessive...but I COULD tolerate that if the food was good quality and super tasty. The "super chimichanga" looked more like a crepe...flat and white, like 2" wide x 4-5" longs and 1/2 " tall. It literally looked like a slice of bread with that, rather than being fried, was put in a panini press. Flavor of the beef wasn't even Mexican...more like Kansas City BBQ. Wish I thought to take a picture, but those already posted here of the chimichanga shows what you can expect. My wife and daughter ordered tamales, burrito and we all looked at one another hugely disappointed. The salsa is often an accurate precursor to the quality of an establishment's food, and this was true here. The salsa tasted like ketchup with some diced tomato, onion and pepper thrown in.
