Place is a dump, outrageous prices, and food is not that good, mediocre at best! Save you money and go someplace you can get a decent meal.

First night we ate Riptides, food was good, service was good, however, it took forever to get our food.Came back day two of vacation. ordered a shrimp avocado salad . Menu said mixed greens. Salad came with iceberg lettuce that tasted horrible. I asked the waiter about it not being what the menu said. He did not know. I would not have ordered the salad had I known. So, I got 6 shrimp, 1/2 avocado, and some iceberg lettuce for $17.50. Not good!Falsely advertised on menu!

Live music and incredible food! Everything tasted really fresh like it was caught from the ocean that very day haha! I had the coconut shrimp since I’m not a big fan of crab but I’m sure that’s the star of the show for most people. If I’m ever back in Florida I’d definitely come here again. I just wish they had some fish and chips!

I am from Vermont and on vacation here for a week. I have been to Florida a few times but never been to riptides until yesterday. The apps we had were pretty good that we got. I got fried sea scallops for $32 which is pretty standard around here I would think. First thing is I like salty stuff but the breading on the scallops was VERY salty to me.. and the breading was falling right off the scallops like mush and greasy when cut into it. The scallop itself was ok. Pretty disappointing that I have better scallops in Vermont at a local restaurant than a place right on the beach….My fiancé burger was also suppose to be cooked medium and it was well done and charred on the outside quite a bit. Needless to say I was disappointed with the place especially paying that kind of money when you can’t even cook a burger.

Great selection of seafood and drinks! We enjoyed the seafood platter, red sangria, and a variety of Florida based craft beer. We sat at the inside bar and was served by John, he was friendly, attentive & helped with any questions we had about the menu. The surf & turf Sherry soup was the best soup I've ever had, recommend to all!

They sell bone in wings by the pound, and we got one pound of hot wings. It came with flats and drums, but not very sauced. Jalapeno hush puppies were not spicy. They had corn, bell peppers, onions, and chives. They were sweeter than I normally liked, and the aoli was good but had a mild flavor. Ranch was NOT Hidden Valley from a jar, which was great! Lots of alcohol options, including local craft beers. Nice vibes and they have a wall with the wave conditions l.

Food was as expected, good but expensive! Shrimp and avocado egg rolls were fantastic. Long wait to get a table, so plan to come early before the dinner rush or wait quite a while. Parking can also be a struggle.
