This old tavern has been around Ormond Beach since the 70s. But back in the 70s it was just a garage garage with a sandy floor and a small bar. It has incrementally grown and been upgraded for years and the new owners have made it into a really great sports bar, and have expanded it to a large size with lots of pool tables, seating, some outdoor seating next-door, so we can catch a seabreeze. My favorite thing about this place is the grilled fish sandwich. If you order it grilled and not fried, you get a big giant slab of mahi-mahi, that’s perfectly marinated and cooked to a T. we stop by here when I’m in the area.

I went to the Seadrift to watch the playoff games. It was very crowded. The owner approached our table multiple times, being friendly. I am not including photos because they are moving in March, right down the street. They have everything. I mean everything. Darts, pool, video games, skeeball, and basketball. Super fun place. Can’t wait to go back in their new location.Food was good. Service was decent but again the place was slammed. Nice menu and beer selection. A good option on A1A in Ormond.

Great place to watch NFL especially if you like pool and darts- and if you are obsessed with the basketball hoops machine.... Just saying :)

first time there was a great vibe with good music. Had my goto beer on tap. Also, the game selection was wonderful. I had a wonderful time there and would definitely go back.

Great bar, outdoor seating for dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I ate there for lunch and the diner the following day and it was an absolutely pleasurable experience. Rode my electric stand on in the bike lane and hid it under the back deck both times no lock.. could use a bike rack but I might've missed it somewhere.

Cool place, I met the owner. He's a good dude. Always something to do there. Lots of games and pool tables and what not. Heineken's R 7.50 each. So don't forget to bring some extra money.

Not enough wait staff...we ordered quesadillas they took over an hour and they were burnt. We went there for a Cleveland Browns backers club meetup....a waste of time.

I moved to Ormond Beach six months ago. I met the owner of this bar, Jim, at Outback Steak house. He seemed like a decent guy and said he owned a couple of bars here on the island. On his recommendation I took a friend to the Seadrift for their Taco Tuesday special. Beautiful Bar... Great food... Great Service, and I will never go there again. Halfway through our food, the owner Jim, walks in the front door and starts yelling at the bartender because the security alarm had gone off and woke him up. He was yelling from the front door, all the way across a full bar, and brought down the mood of the entire establishment. I spend my money freely with people that respect their employees and my business. I won't spend my dollars in one of Jimmy's bars in the future.

My wife and I were cruising north on A1A and decided to stop in for a beer. We didn’t see a hostess so we seated ourselves at the bar. There was a bartender working behind the bar and a bar-back (?) stocking beers/ice or whatnot. We waited for about 10 minutes to place our order but no one acknowledged us or even made eye contact. It was a Saturday afternoon, not very busy and there may have been 6 or 7 patrons seated at the bar. After 10 minutes we decided to leave. We’re not some hoity-toity couple walking around with our noses in the air expecting a red carpet to be rolled out for us. LOL. However, it would have been nice to have been acknowledged. How hard is it to say “Hey, how are you guys doing? I’ll be with you in a minute.” No biggie. We went up the road a mile and stopped for a beer at a place called Franks Place instead. The bartender there was on point. We had two beers and hit the road. If we walked out of Seadrift Sports Bar, I’m sure others have as well. Letting paying customers walk is money out of the owners pocket. Maybe this review will help improve customer service going forward ??‍♂️
