I got so sick from eating their fried oysters, obviously left out and not handled properly. Lab tests showed I had a bacteria called clostridium prefrigerens, diarrhea for 3 weeks, penicillin and other meds. Management was not interested, was only hoping they’d be vigilant of staff in the future, but I did report to Board of Health. Be wary here. So disappointed.

Service was great! Love the ambiance - not that many of these older steakhouses around that are not noisy and have a cozy feeling. Loved the filet - barely needed a knife. I was thrilled to get an excellent Bernaise sauce with the steak. My husband was very happy with his salmon. Salad and potatoes were also excellent and since they are included in the price (which is rare any more) it makes the meal prices very reasonable.

I went to Rosebud's for a friends retirement party. Service was spotty and matter of fact...I asked the waiter if the eggplant parmesan was crispy or mushy. He said it's "crispy". Unfortunately that wasn't my experience. The eggplant was mushy and loaded with too much marinara sauce.Atmosphere is nice but a little noisy.

I did not like rosebuds at all, neither did my family! It was not good . They of course let you know in advance about the crab legs that there are no refunds on them … which the crab leg are market price. Any place I have been they have been way bigger filled & phenomenal. Here they were super fishy, the meat was kind of hard like they were over cooked, and they were so small for 125 at market price . That’s insane I couldn’t believe it when they brought me them out, my service was great but the food was not at all. My fiancé asked for well done filet and it was still pink in the center even the salad he didn’t eat it. I have wanting to try rosebuds for so long since I moved to Sarasota but never took the chance $ when i finally decided to in my birthday at that I was so disappointed. The bake potatoes over cooked like just everything was disappointing . Never again.

I've wanted to try this place for so long and I finally did and I was very impressed. I had the 8oz filet which comes with a side of bernaise and it was outstanding! I chose creamed spinach and potato croquettes for my sides and both were extremely tasty. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. Service by Kyle at the bar was 1st rate. I regret not coming in sooner because now I will be a regular! Highly recommend!

Classic old school steakhouse ambience with dark wood, stacked stone, tin ceilings and comfortable seating. Service was great... our server Grace was friendly, quick & professional. I read several reviews on yelp before we chose a steakhouse for dinner tonight and I honestly think we hit the jackpot. Everything was nice quality and delicious. Awesome classic French onion soup! Husband said Prime rib & baked potato were cooked perfectly with the most tender asparagus side. My veal piccata & house salad with homemade blue cheese dressing was fabulous. I saw on yelp some mediocre reviews, but it looks like they were either crabby individuals or from unexperienced diners. Our experience was an A+
Easter Meal for two. Ham order. And Christy Duck meal ! Both were done and delicious!

Warning!!! I was just a great dinner at RosebudsRestaurant in Osprey. When it was time to leave they couldn't find my husband's walker anywhere, he can't walk at all without it. I asked to speak to the manager, BILL KODRA an owner and told him my husband can't walk without a walker. He said he could help him to the car, he isn't strong enough, call the police or call an ambulance. I asked for compensation for the $500 walker or to pay $500 for the ambulance that insurance would not pay for, he said no! I asked him if I get him in the car with someone else's walker how do I get him in the house? He was rude and didn't care he said this happens all the time, the woman at the desk said they have never had that happen in the 20 years she has been at Rosebuds. It will cost me time and money for this happening to us and my husband is helpless. Many seniors use walkers at Rosebuds, do not let them out of your sight!! Rosebuds doesn't care about their customers just the money!

Service is slow. Bartenders complained about owners. I really don’t care about how the owners treat their help. The prices are not cheap but the food was decent. . Who wants to hear about how cheap the owners are every time the waiter shows up. Go to Waterfrontoo if you want a decent drink and no complaints from the bar staff. Food is as good and cheaper. Drinks are not measured at Waterfrontoo.

Great location right on 41 offers fine dining with a creative menu. Good food overall and has been here for as long as I can remember. Reservations recommended it gets busy during season.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian dishes hereParking: There is plenty of parking but it does fill up during season so go early.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking on site
