Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered online, picked up order , when got home pizza was not made to order. I called and ask them to remake pizza the way I ordered it and was told they were not going to do it and hung up on me!

Palermo's Pizza- Palm Bay, FL- 4.25 Stars “I do not cook. However, if I did, I'd cook all Italian food, all the time.” – Ne-Yo As I pulled onto the Causeway to once again head OTB for a review, all I could think of was that being a food critic is not for those that are concerned about their waistline as yet another Pizza joint came up on my name generator. This time it was Palermo's Pizza in the teeming metropolis that has become Palm Bay. Now, I am not a gambling man, per se, but I bet if you polled every pizza joint in this here US of A, there would be a guy named Tony working there. Like every other pizza slop house, Tony's on the register here as he asks for my order. In a heavy Italian lilt, he informs me that he is also the owner. I asked Tony for some Garlic Cheese Bread, one pepperoni and onion Stromboli, and an order of their Baked Ziti along with a canned beverage. The restaurant has only three tables, it is obviously geared more to take out than dine-in, not that that's a bad thing. I had my order before too long, snapped some pics and dug in as the inviting aromas wafting up from the plate was overwhelming my olfactory nerve. I grabbed a slice of Cheesy Garlic bread and popped it in my mouth. This is impressive! The large order of bread was exceedingly, but not inordinately so, buttery, garlicky and quite cheesy. Talk about a great start to a meal, this is it. Moving on to the Stromboli, (which is essentially a rolled up pizza), as one can garner from the picture, this baby was packed to the hilt with above grade Italian perfection. The ingredients were so fresh I could swear I heard an Italian butcher with a Palermo accent yakking away as the flavors Tarantellaed their way across my tongue. Tony is obviously not cutting any corners when it comes to quality ingredients. Cin cin to Tony! Finishing the sample of Stromboli, I never eat the whole dish, just enough to be able to judge it, I moved on to the Ziti. The Ziti, like the Stromboli and Cheesy Garlic bread, was a huge portion. You are certainly getting your money's worth at Palermo's Pizza! The meatballs were out of this world delicious and obviously not of the frozen variety. The side salad is also enormous with big chunks of tomato. I must say, I am impressed with this tiny hole in the wall. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that I am pretty sure Tony is like me in that he just likes to stir the pot a bit as he offers New York Style Pizza, Chicago Style Pizza and a Hawaiian specialty pizza with ham and, yep, you guessed it, pineapple! I am loving this guy!!! Palermo's Pizza just drives home the point that the best local places are often small out-of-the-way joints, you know the old adage, “good things come in small packages” is spot on in this case. The Big Boy says,” For some great Italian influenced fare made with top-notch ingredients, Palermo's Pizza is the place to go.” #bigboydiningout #bigboydining #bigboy

I ordered a Chicago style pizza which includes 2 toppings. I didnt realize until after I got home that they charged for all 4 toppings I ordered. Mistake? Perhaps. Check your receipts and let us know.

I thought I loved all pizza. It didn't matter if it was frozen, home made, delivery, or in a pizzeria. That was until I tried Palermos. Not a single aspect was good. Disgusting sauce, cheese, crust, and toppings. How this place is in business baffles me. If you want pizza, go anywhere else. You'd have better luck eating ketchup on toast. The worst part is I have to drive by this place everyday and get reminded that pizza can in fact be terrible

Palermo's uses fresh mushrooms and crumbled Italian sausage - two of my requirements for a good pizza. They prepare a delicious mushroom, onion and sausage pizza!

My favorite style of pizza NY style. Now, nothing compares to the real deal but this place comes as close as I have found! The cheese tastes delicious and everything from the toppings to the dough to the oil and herbs on top - delicious, foldable, perfection! We also had wings and they were perfectly cooked and plentiful on the meat side. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

I wrote a review of Palermo’s about 2 months ago calling their pizza “wet”....and rightfully so at that time. I returned recently and ordered a pizza with the same toppings just asking for light sauce and a bit well done. Well that was the magic words. The pizza was perfect... and I can’t use any other word than perfect to explain it. Garlic rolls again were on point. New experiences: Wings: I like my wings in a very specific manner so I did not try them but my friends loved the wings. Big, meaty, just great. Cannoli: 3 mini cannoli per order. They were cute. Needed some more chocolate chips in them. Also if you’re getting them to go, ask them to put the chocolate sauce on the side, it made the cannoli shells....meh. Great all around second experience....I will return again.

We went here to celebrate national pizza day, recently finding out that they had deep dish pizza. My husband used to live in Chicago and loves a good deep dish pizza. everyone behind the counter was super nice and very attentive. We ordered a deep dish pizza, my son ordered spaghetti and meatballs as well. The garlic knots were delicious. Our order was perfect and our deep dish pizza was fabulous! We couldn’t finish it, so we took the rest home and it was amazing for breakfast and lunch the next day! They also have New York style pizza which we are looking forward to trying next month!

I am a born and raised New Yorker where great pizza can be found everywhere. Since our favorite pizzeria, Sorrento's, closed I've ordered the pizza here about 5 times. I have to say that after trying other pizzerias in the area, Palermo's is a good choice. You can do worse...much worse! The people are friendly and the pies are cooked fast. The only complaint I have is that the toppings are sparse, except for the cheese, which is very satisfactory.

2nd Visit - I wanted to recheck this pizzeria since I thought so highly of the pizza on my first visit in July. I may have erred or that day was a perfect day for the restaurant. Yes, I was correct on my first visit, 4 stars, great thin crust pizza. Second best thin crust pizza I have tasted in area. 2nd to Pizza Gallery. Again had the lunch special - pizza, salad and soda for $4.99. Salad of lettuce and tomatoes with blue cheese dressing tasted like it was fresh from the garden, like last time. This time I had canned sweetened tea, enjoyed it more than the soda I had last time. The pizza was a thin slice with cheese, and it was near perfect. Should have had a couple more slices? The center crust was though less soft than the first time I was there, The crust appeared to be thinner than last time, can happen when you make each crust by hand, which would result in it being baked through more and thus less soft. It was still not baked to a hard crust that I dislike. His thick delicious cheese topping helped keep it soft. Border was slightly spongy though if pizza had slightly thicker crust it would have been more spongy, and center crust would have been softer like first time. Pizzailo as last time was again very congenial and helpful. Like the ambience of this small no frills not crowded down-home pizza parlor of my childhood. Of course he does not sell just pizza, has all the traditional Italian foods you expect in a pizzeria. I have not tried any yet. Seating is tight but comfortable. There are 4 4-person tables along south wall. There was another patron eating the lunch special. A TV it was on. In the same business park with Palermo's is a very good Columbian bakery, Columbian Harvest, been there for years. I had Columbian coffee and guava pastry for dessert after the pizza. In this business park used to be the Old Nineveh Middle Eastern restaurant now closed as the owners have returned to Mideast. The husband finished at FIT. Wife ran restaurant.

It's hard to find authentic soul food that is consistently good. But Olivers Grill is just that, it's authentic and consistently good. My buddy and I can here for lunch. Ordered smothered pork chops, rice, collared greens, and Lima beans. My Lima beans had a large chunk of ham in there which just set them off. The collared greens were so good that I cherished every bite. The smothered pork chop had great taste, it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this spot!
