On my 40th birthday, I finally got to eat at the local Italian restaurant I've been wanting to try out ever since they replaced one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants, Joumana's Mediterranean Cuisine I have received many excellent recommendations to try out Trattoria Bella, and all of them are true. This Italian restaurant is amazing. First and foremost, it must be stressed when driving up to Trattoria Bella (which I will shorthand to TB for the remainder of the review), there is that feel of being at a roadsite trattoria in Italy. Kudos to anyone, such as I, who've eaten at a traditional trattoria in Italy like I've had. It has more sophistication and class than an osteria but more casual than a ristorante. For us "uncultured Americans," you can relate Trattoria Bella to a fast casual restaurant (Panera Bread is the pioneer of the concept in the United States), more sophisticated than fast food (McDonald's, Burger King, etc.), but more casual than a full-service restaurant (Outback, Red Lobster, etc.). That is the best way I can relate TB to the American eatery scene, but that is still an injustice as TB is leagues ahead of any fast casual restaurant I have ever eaten at. You have the choice to eat outside, which can be debilitating during the Florida summer months yet kind of romantic at night with the mood string lights and highlighted mural on the eastern wall of the building, or inside that has some Italian-familiar albeit possibly stereotypical tropes. Given the fact that this is my first time here, I did take note of the specials but decided to order from the menu. For an appetizer, you will get Italian bread with butter. I love the presentation of serving it in a cleaned large can of tomatoes. We also got a trio of foods usually served on Italian streets: beef aranccini (fried risotto rice balls with beef inside), pizzette (small pizza), and calamari understandly titled "Italian Street Food." For the main course, my family ordered the following, which I will separate and detail: 1. Potato and Marscapone: Home-made Ravioli Filled with Potato and Mascarpone, Tallegio Cheese Fonduta, Aromatic Breadcrumbs, Red Wine & Balsamic Reduction. 2. Pistachio-Crusted Salmon: A salmon with a pistachio crust served with vegetable caponata, salsa verde. 3. Butternut Squash Ravioli: Homemade butternut squash ravioli, butter and sage, Grana Padano cheese, crispy Brussels sprouts. 4. Spaghetti Frutti di Mare: Literally translates to "Fruit of the Sea Spaghetti." Spaghetti served with clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, spicy tomato sauce. 5. Four Cheese Pasta: Probably TB's signature meal. Penne Pasta, Four Cheese Sauce, Italian Sausage, Crumble Pistachio, Finished in a Pecorino Cheese Wheel. Needless to say but we "shared each other's meals," and everything was "excellente." To conclude our meal, we did order dessert. We decided to do a round table in which they had a special featuring four of their desserts in smaller servings. They include the tiramisu (my favorite), canolli, panna cotta, and limoncello cake. Just like the rest of the food, it is delicious and a great way to end the night. On a sidenote, the restrooms were clean and also had stereotypical Italian troupes. Still fits the atmosphere. Excellent food, expect to pay a higher price on food... and that is what I did. The average of food was around $30 per plate. Still worth it though and I will definitely be back to eat more of their food. Got to see if TB earns their consistency star.

A true hidden gem. I want to see this place packed on the weekends! The food is inspired and delicious. Service is great and the ambiance is quaint. I love that they change their menus every so often it keeps things fun and interesting, especially when you trust that whatever they make is gonna be GOOD.

Good food, great service, Pino Grigio was excellent! Had the Chilean Sea Bass, very good came with arugula salad. I'm picky about my fish being overcooked, raised in south Florida,

My friend and I had dinner last night at Trattoria Bella. They have a Dinner Special on Thursday Night, $38 per person with a 2 person minimum. My recommendation: GO, GO, GO!!! The Dinner consists of: *Appetizer Board with Bruschetta, Calamari and mini Meatballs *Pasta, 2 picks per table, your choices are Rigatoni Bolognese, Penne 4-Cheese & Sausage, Spaghetti Pomodoro Burrata or Rigatoni Vodka Salmon - We ordered the last two items on the list *Dessert Board which is a Chef's Choice. Our board had a Cannoli, slice of Limoncello Cake and Chocolate Salami Everything was FANTASTIC! The food was wonderful, the timing on each course was perfect, the servers checked in just enough, the atmosphere is charming with music in the back round. I have been to Trattoria Bella many times and this place is consistent and on-spot EVERY TIME! I highly recommend you try Trattoria Bella for the Thursday Dinner Special, for Sunday Brunch or for Dinner. It will be a meal that you won't forget!

Best Italian restaurant in Brevard. Reminded me of Grandma’s cooking from the old country. I ordered my favorite Frutti de Mar which was fantastic. My husband ordered ravioli with potato and cheese filling. It was rich and delicious. We will definitely be back soon.

Food for Italian is just marginal. Ordered and eggplant appetizer with a side of pasta. They forgot to take the skin off the eggplant and the pasta side had no favor. Would have been better with a jar of RAO sauce. Nice small bar that I would have preferred to be seated at but they use it as a place for the wait staff to hang out. Won't be back.In response to the reply. I have eaten eggplant many times and the skin comes off if you peel it so please don't insult my intelligence. The dish My wife had was more flavorful. But the sauce was also watery. The restaurant was quite empty for the 5 - 6 time frame. Maybe you should take people advice in the review.

My husband and I had a date night dinner here. The food was delicious. The bread with butter; i could just ate that all day. The butter that came with bread... OMG!! I had the Vodka and Salmon which tasted amazing. My husband had the four cheese pasta which he loved. The dessert just as tasty. The limoncello cake was light and sooo yummy. We both definitely are going to return.

The best most authentic Italian food you will ever have. The flavors are incomparable and will keep you wanting more. They have gluten free pasta options and the gluten free pasta was phenomenal tastes exactly like regular pasta, they also have a gluten free brownie which was fluffy and moist. Their food presentation was beautiful and unique and the service was exceptional. Do your self a favor and try it out, you won't be disappointed. Try to make a reservation it is a small place and gets full very quickly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Very accommodating to kids

I was pleasantly surprised how tasty the take out food was. When I went there on a Wednesday night it was quite busy which is always a good sign in mid-week. It also seemed also to be priced right for the portion size.I would like to go back soon and eat in for the rest of this restaurant's experience. I would definitely recommend it for classic Italian.
