I'll give the place an A for effort, because you can absolutely tell it's authentic Brazilian food. Unfortunately, the owners are not restauranteurs. The minute you step inside you realize that the place is a Mom and Pop establishment that became a reality when a hard working couple decided to quit their jobs and try their hands at the restaurant business. The food was good and very authentic but the place feels awkward. The presentation of the food detracts from it's authenticity and the experience is a let down. What should be a proper dining experience is presented in a sandwich shop manner. The place is very clean and the buffet style equipment is all new and presents the food well but it also gives the place a sterile feel and is totally lacking in warmth or personality. To put it best, it has a hospital cafeteria sort of feel. This is indicative of an amateur operation. I feel almost apologetic because I'm sure that if I were invited to dine at the owners home the meal would garner a completely different reaction. As I said before, the lack of a comfortable setting destroys any chance of a pleasant dining experience.

I don't throw around 5 star review but you gotta know about this place. Excellent local place run by real Brazilians. You know the place is going to be good when you hear people speaking Portuguese inside- clientele and staff. The food is churrasco style barbecue Brazilian meats plus salads, sides, a number of fried foods, feijoada (national dish of Brazil). Even had chicken hearts, Which are fantastic! Everything is excellent and delicious. If I have to give anything resembling criticism it would be that they should serve the food a little hotter but that's just my preference and maybe I'm picky/annoying. The inside of the place is all new and clean, well air conditioned and is very inviting. Owners are a very friendly bunch. We go a lot and I think they have lowered the prices, which honestly were not that high before. If you are in the mood for some delicious meats, salads, desserts, having the authentic Brazilian experience, and avoiding another cookie cutter chain restaurant - check this place out, you'll thank me later. It's amazing

Such a disappointment and left ripped off and pissed off. 100% agree with Tammy and Joseph. I also was so eager to like this place, as its local and ethnic, and I was so stoked to try it! The owner attempted to explain how the buffet, meats and prices all work, but he was very deceptive and misleading. I went in with my girlfriend for dinner and we asked how to feed two people at a reasonable price. He told us what to do, what boxes to fill and let us try some meats, etc. we ended up filling two reg Togo boxes with mostly cheap quality sides, and one small container of decent looking meat. Our total was over $60!!! I asked why we got charged so much? and he immediately escalated the situation, got aggressive and defensive. I tried calmly explaining why we were confused and we felt over paid etc, but he was belligerent. Tried again to nicely share feedback, but was arrogant and offensive. We paid and got the F out. Will not go back, Would not recommend. Looking forward to what business will replace this when he leaves.
