Sushi Yama is amazing. The food, the ambiance, the decor, everything fits. The staff are swift and attentive. Despite being slightly crowded, the food was prepared without delay. If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend the Thai Iced tea. 10/10 would recommend and 11/10 will be returning!

The food is not that good except for the soft shell crab roll, the rest does not taste nice. Ordered the yakitori chicken but as you can see in the picture it doesn’t look like Japanese yakitori at all, bland taste also. The stir fry pork was quite dry and bland. For the salmon roll it was still ok, i don’t recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Japanese food.

First time trying this restaurant and location. Ordered to go online: Beef Noodle Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup (Pho, as it is commonly referred to on most restaurant's menu, not on this one, though), Singapore Noodle, Basil Chicken Stir Fry and Chicken Wings.Everything was very average tasting. Nothing "wowed" us.My biggest complaint and disappointment was in the lack of customer service. The order confirmation email I received stated my order would be ready @ 7:51pm; I arrived a little before 8pm and the order was not ready. I was not given any kind of time line as to how much longer it would be before my order was ready. Then 10 minutes later I was told they were out of the Stuffed Chicken Wings I had originally ordered and if I wanted to substitute regular Chicken Wings, which I agreed to.My order was finally ready at about 8:20. "Here you go, have a nice evening." No apology was offered during the entire half hour I waited. No offer of a discount or credit, no free app or dessert - these are common gestures in this kind of scenario.Hope you have a better experience than I did.

I have begged them for extra eel sauce time and time again and they keep telling me they gave eel sauce. I got charged for extra eel sauce, and I will attach what I found when I came home. This has happened now multiple times and iv given them every chance to rectify. I even called the restaurant just now to attempt to fix this all I got was “uh huh” and some lame duck excuse.

Service was okay. Shrimp tempura tasted decent but the black dragon roll tasted like the hamachi went bad. Almost barfed! ?

The soup noodles were very disappointing. Nothing authentic about it. They don’t understand the term ‘ramen’.

My first time there yesterday. I was extremely disappointed. The waitress was not friendly at all and obviously didn't know how to smile. The crab rangoons were good; the volcano sushi was terrible (greasy, imitation crab meat) no mayonnaise, etc. Ambiance was just okay. I definitely will not eat there again.

I went with my teenaged son, we both enjoy sushi. Our first choice was closed Sunday. first, I was surprised to see a sautéed chicken liver appetizer on the menu. We ordered that and the sushi boat for two. Our server Moe brought out the appetizer right from the pan. It was hot, crispy, and delicious. the boat was generous, impressively stuffed for the price and I found the sushi to be extremely fresh, and perfectly prepared. This is our new favorite for Japanese.

I love going to this restaurant. The staff are lovely people and the food is 10/10, the most authentic Japanese food you can get.

We had food delivered. It arrives hot and the spring rolls were still crispy. Their chicken fried rice is the best I've ever had. Loved the pad Thai too. Not a fan of the sushi.

Restaurant does not take reservations. The sushi quality is horrible. The service is worse than the sushi. Will never return.
