The wings are smoked and are crazy good. I was so impressed by this place. We ordered the Cajun pasta and it was delicious, creamy and light, the sauce was delicious and it had smoked pork belly which enhanced the dish. I really liked this place and I’m looking forward to going back to try something new.

Each time I visit this place, there's a problem. I went twice with friends, and somehow, they managed to mess up the bill. Took my daughter this past Saturday and had to go on the wait list for 45 minutes. My phone number was taken and read back to me correctly, yet entered wrong. After an hour and 16 minutes, I went to see what was taking them, and yep! My number was wrong. I wanted to sit inside, but after not getting in when I should have, I had to opt for outside, where I couldn't see the live music band. The worst part of all my experiences with this place is that the representatives I had to deal with were all really rude. It's like I didn't have a right to get upset about their shortcomings. Despite all of this, they charge a 16% convenience fee. I always thought it went to the servers. Turns out that this is not the case, and so I also had to pay extra for tip. Let's just say lessons finally learned.

This is really a shame, is sad to see how a good experience can be turned into a horrible night, just because the staff think they are entitled and doing you a “favor” by letting you seat on the bar, because you want to enjoy good music and food. The band, Straight Jackets, is amazing, I saw them several times in different places, so they are not a reflection of the poor service of this place. I feel sorry for them. The huge lack of knowledge, courtesy and kindness of the barman Patrick, is offensive. Is so sad seeing the well stock you have your bar and this guy doesn’t even properly pour a drink. His actitud is like the one who thinks he mastered the barman profession, full of ego and rudeness, but he doesn’t even know what type of liquors he has behind him. And on top of that, he is rude with his own coworkers. Poor, poor, poor service and sad. Guys, if you want to enjoy this band, just go to a different place where you can feel appreciated and well served.

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here in December. The atmosphere is fantastically and deliciously dark and exotic, capturing the essence of what a bayou in a seemingly voodoo-laced city such as N’orleans, perhaps has to offer. Kudos to whoever designed this place ?❤️? The Gumbo YaYa is the ish. Looooved it. I had it twice. Will definitely visit again.

The service was slow and not friendly. The fried chicken was horrible. Small portions, over cooked and very dry. The biscuit was hard. We did enjoy the craft
Kayla is an absolutely amazing and extremely thoughtful server! She knows our group that goes every couple weeks and always makes sure we're well taken care of. We absolutely love her!We get the Gator tail and cornbread for apps and they never fail to disappoint.

Overpriced. Fried chicken was very dry. Sides were not included with entrees. Paid extra for vegetable sides and side salad. Beignets were not good. Was told when our party of two was seated that there would be an 18% service charge which indeed was added to the bill. Would not recommend nor will we return to this restaurant.
