We had such a wonderful brunch here while we were in Tampa! They were pretty packed with reservations since it was Father's Day but we were able to beat the crowd and get a table outside. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were delicious! There were pieces of lemon curd that made them slightly tart. They were HUGE so you could easily split between 2 people. The menu offers a variety of sweet and savory options. My friends enjoyed their meals and we all left happy and full. Ryan was a great server and always had a smile. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Carmel is a hidden gem in the countryside area. I've been here a number of times now and the food is always creative and good.

Service was slow considering not too many people there but the food was excellent. We'll be back

Server was extremely inattentive and she was training another server. Horrible person to train someone new. Lemon ricotta pancakes weren't - they were just over cooked pancakes. Side of fruit included 2 blackberries and maybe half of a strawberry diced into pieces small enough for an ant. No offer of a refill of coffee. No checking to see how the meal was. Server took order and brought the check. We were served by kitchen staff and runners. Just an awful experience.

What should I began? Well it started with me going on a daddy daughter brunch to another restaurant that was ridiculously packed so I ended up here and what a pleasant surprise . We we're seated immediately and had the best waiter Craig he was dope. I ordered some shrimp and grits and my daughter had pancakes and eggs. The food was awesome no complaints at all. Oh did I mention they have complementary mimosas?! An complete open bar for mimosas and bloody Mary's along with bacon wrapped shrimp its self served which is perfect so you can pour as much or as little as your heart desire . Nice spot for brunch with a date, perfect spit for brunch with your friends. I highly recommend everyone to swing by

Stopped by here after church with two friends. Carmel was extremely busy at 12:15! I was lucky to catch a parking spot only a block away. Even though they were busy, we were seated right away. Drinks were ordered and we scanned the menu. My friend settled on an item from entrees but we were told only items from the Sunday Brunch menu were available until after 2:00 PM, so we took a few more minutes to look. I chose the Shrimp and Grits, with cheese added. My friends picked the Chicken Salad Croissants and the Shrimp and Grits. We talked while waiting on our food. It was noisy due to the crowds - even the patio tables outside were full. Our food came, along with fresh drinks. The Shrimp and Grits were superb. Grits were creamy and hot with just the right amount of cheese, shrimps were perfect and the fresh (not pickled) jalapeño slices were just the right kick. My friend said her Chicken Salad Croissants were great. Bread was warm and had a slight crunch. Chicken salad was delicious and plentiful. A great experience, excellent food and good conversation. What more could you ask for?

The food menu is high priced but you don't get much food. Possibly just good for wine. The wait in the kitchen was very long, as well.

We were headed for one of our favorite local haunts but it was too crowded and we have wanted to try Carmel. We are so glad we did. We were seated outside, in their garden boxed area which gives their outdoor patio some separation from the parking lot, immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Tuesday is $6 burger meal day so we both got a hand made burger on a fresh warm brioche bun with grilled onions lettuce and tomato. The fries were hot and crispy and seasoned with salt, pepper and sesame seeds. I loved their fries. The burger was cooked exactly as I asked, very tasty and juicy. Our iced tea glasses were not yet empty when she brought us another. We will definitely be back and Carmel may just have edged out our favorite spot for lunch!

We brought our dining group here last Saturday. The experience was extraordinary. Our party of 22 people were treated like VIP's all evening. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere made for a wonderful experience.

I would only get lobster bisque for takeout. It was the best I have ever had. But the place is too expensive. My friend's meatballs were 11$ for 2. And my 6 oz. Glass of wine was 17$! Never paid that much anywhere!

A favorite of mine-love this place for brunch or lunch. Delicious Mediterranean food served in an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Brandy the bartender and James the manager are phenomenal at taking care of people. 5 stars all around.

Still an amazing culinary experience! Wonderful dishes perfectly plated, fabulous tasting! If you want a full on dining experience with a small or large group this place is fantastic! All this missing is live music like they used to have !
