First time coming here, I wanted to try something new before I left the Tampa area and went back home. It was a small cozy diner that definitely felt like a nostalgic time capsule. However that was the only positive I will say about this place. I came in with a coworker and we wanted to look at a menu, the older lady at the front gave us a dirty look and ignored us at first until we asked again and said in an angry tone " for here or to go" my coworker didn't like that presentation and went to a different establishment. I stayed and actually ordered food because they had stuff on the menu I liked. I was talked down too like I didn't know anything Even though I waited some time for their BLT and some sides, the food was actually pretty good. I did take it to go because I didn't want to be in an unfriendly environment where I didn't feel welcomed.

Simple. Laughter. Lots of chatter. Relaxing. Enjoyable breakfast foods but to be honest, I've never had anything different. Service - those people hustle. Candid - go, enjoy the food, the servers, and the other patrons. Just a nice place. An oasis. ?

Great neighborhood diner. Loved the Ultimate Country Skillet. Grits were nice and creamy. The whole wheat toast from fresh baked bread was delicious and unique.

The food was mediocre. I had chicken Parm that was like it was frozen from the grocery store paid 1199 and they charged me an additional $.99 because I ordered hot water. I said twice as much water and a glass of water they said, electricity to make the water hot, I said the large waters have ice in them. They need electricity to make the ice for the large water no need they stood fast but that $.99 has cost them my business I would've went back from mediocre food for lunch after all it's just a café. But I won't go back due to the point of the $.99 for a cup of hot water.

It is a nice little place that is somewhat reasonable. Large wait staff turn over. Bread is all baked fresh in their kitchen.
Love this place even if the atmosphere isn't great. Hey, it's typical of a diner not a fancy joint. But the food is fresh, and prepared perfectly. Thats what I come for. They open at 6 Mon through Fri, 7 on Sat. They are a friendly family type place where friends can gather over a great Belgian Waffel or eggs, bacon, grits and coffee. We've only done breakfast but it's well worth a visit.
