Moved here and found san family now been there a few times always pizza ? (o-my) the best iav had in the two years moving around.so last night I was like I just want to try something simple.........all I can say is I'll be in a lot more......how can you get a sandwich that good....next stop steak sub...... thanks sam's

Nothing but OUTSTANDING! If you want true NYC-style pizza, this is the place to come. The owner is right at the table making all the pies. He also circles the dining area to say hi and ask how the food is. His daughter seated us and waited on us -- she's got great customer service skills. Their non-pizza items do not disappoint. From being previous pizzeria owners, we know about the biz and what it takes. These guys have it all. Support local, enjoy outstanding food and get exceptional service. A regular spot got us!

Googled pizza in ocala and stumbled upon this gem. Everything was great, started with salads and got a large 3 topping pizza. Amazing crust. Wish I could leave a higher rating. Family owned and operated, everyone was exceedingly friendly.

Food was good, casual Italian-american fare. Server was having a bad day, because it's a small space her constant griping to co workers about the host, busboy, and other staff was all we could hear thorought our meal. Seriously need to take the whining out of earshot of the customers.

owner has Napoleon complex. we asked for an update on some simple pizzas after 25 minutes. apparently the waitress is the owners daughter. I think she feels a lot of pressure so I don’t blame her at all. man cam out with our “pizzas” and was speaking with his chest puffed out. I could a went across the street to buy some Digiorno. 0 ut of 1. What kind of name is San anyways?

It's the best pizza I have had in Ocala since moving down here. I was recommended to try it out by a co-worker, and I am glad I did. I ordered a small sausage pizza paired with an order of mozzarella sticks; both were great, but the pizza was the best. The guy who helped me, who I assume was the owner, was polite and had a great personality. I can't wait to stop by again to try what else this classic pizzeria has to offer. I'd recommend anyone to stop by and check it out; they have something for everyone.
