The sushi here is amazing, the ‘super crunchy’ roll is the best sushi roll I have ever had. The service was great, sushi was phenomenal, prepared right in front of you and the place also has a very homey atmosphere to it as well. The staff are also very sweet and kind too.

I had one of their sashimi bowls and it was a great choice! One of the biggest portions of sashimi I ever had in a restaurant, definitely a go to place for good food.

Our go-to spot for sushi!! You can easily order online and pick up or have it delivered via Uber eats, doordash, etc. Food is ready in about 20-30 minutes, which is phenomenal! My only suggestion would be to add a little more Wasabi for those ordering a lot of sushi ?
Don't enjoy sharing my dining area with German Cockroaches. One ran next to my straw and scurried down the corner. Two minutes later another came on the counter but I was ready for it with the soy sauce bottle. One less roach and one less customer.

Came out to try Yama-Taiyo tonight, due to a few recommendations from family, and I love this place. The food is top notch. Excellent sushi quality. The sashimi I had here is probably the best I've had in the area. My sons Tempura was delicious and so was My wife's Chicken Teriyaki. The staff are such nice people, and you can tell they care about the customers. On top of the excellent food and service, the owner gave my son a stuffed Pikachu. It made our whole night. We will be back!!

When I go out to eat, I want to get what I get here everytime. That is good, quality food, with matching service. We have been customers here for at least 10 years, and have tried other sushi restaurants as well thru the years. For us, we have not found the same quality of service and food as Yama Taiyo. Thank you for being so welcoming and delicious.
