“Been here twice now and it's good coffee and the breakfast sandwiches are good but a few points that lose that 5th star - for now.Iced coffee should be more coffee than ice but both times it was mostly ice.Food wise it was good but not exactly what I ordered so that's not good.The chairs are cute but uncomfortable. The cashier is nice.Maybe when it's warmer sitting outside would be nice.We'll come back I'm sure. Maybe I have to be more specific when I order.“

“Sarasota and Manatee have a serious lack of small venues for local and traveling bands, artists, etc. I am so thrilled to have Oscura exists. They constantly have great shows and events, including those for local residents to perform with open mics and poetry reading. Also, the drink menu is carefully and thoughtfully curated. The coffee is fantastic. The cocktails are fun and delicious. The non-alcoholic options are more extensive than anywhere I’ve been in our area. I absolutely love checking out shows here. In my hometown up north, there was a local or traveling bands playing original music somewhere nearly every night of the week and I’m from a town of 100k. Oscura brings me back to those days and the vibes are immaculate.“
“The minute I walked in the door I was greeted with friendly smiles, and hello. The staff is very friendly and helpful when picking my food/beverage choices. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a multigrain croissant with the salad. It was so so so delicious! I also had an iced coffee. This was amazing. “We stopped here on our way back from Anna Maria because we needed some caffeine. It was one of the only coffee shops open in the area, and I think I know why. This is THE place to get a coffee beverage. My wife and I each ordered a latte, and it was fantastic. Better than Starbucks, and the atmosphere was outstanding. We also ordered a cinnamon roll which was also great. The staff were very attentive as well.“

“Came in to get some snacks and drinks for myself and the children. Great staff and warm reception! (It’s a mom and pop shop) - great menu options, and the food came out very fast. Loved the feeling of the cafe, and the owners are very kind and courteous. “My first visit. Off the chain great food! We had the Greek salad, garlic knots, cheese bread, and 2 different pizzas. The best I've ever had NY style pizza. Passed the flop test on the pizza crust with flying colors, very thin and super crispy.The cheese bread was super fresh and epically crispy, cheesy, buttery delicious. I suggest eating in the restaurant if you want to experience the "straight out of the oven" ultimate crispy crusts. They have great taste in the music that was playing as well. A complete 5 star experience across the board for this little restaurant. This place is now definitely my "Only" place in Bradenton to eat pizza, Greek salad, garlic knots, and cheese bread. I'm betting that everything else on their menu is of the same quality. These guys are the real deal.“
“We eat here at least once a week outside and we absolutely love every bit of our food! It is a bit hard to find at first....but well worth it ! It closes early but we go at any time of the day and they will serve breakfast for lunch or vice versa. I love their COFFEE and Spinach/bacon omelette and their delicious biscuits and grits and their seasonal chicken biscuit with egg and pimento cheese and bacon jam was unbelievable ! We love their mimosas and all their fancier pancakes and french toast options. Great shrimp and grits ! All of those are the best I have had.We absolutely LOVE ANNIE and we always hope she will be our waitress. She is super friendly and will answer any of your questions. She is always smiling ! You should go....you will love it !!“
“Febuary 17, 2023 We found Robin's Downtown Cafe on our stay in Bradenton this week and it was so good we ate breakfast there four times. The staff is excellent, very friendly and a pleasure to be around. By the second time we were there they even knew we were having a regular and decaf coffee for me and my wife. The food was fantastic, they post awesome daily specials along with a great menu. If you are in Bradenton it is a place you have to find and try. We give it a 5 out of 5. “The atmosphere is the beach and it's great. The people working were very good at getting the food to the table. The food was classic cafe fare great fried fish, onion rings and fries are favorites, but they also have a wide and varied menu. A great place to eat and enjoy the Gulf.“

“The waitress' were very helpful & accomodating for our large group with 5 kids. The food was reasonably priced & good-sized portions! The seating was a little cramped, but we knew going in that it was going to be a tight fit since the place was described as a "nook" in the description I read beforehand. Also, it seems like most places on the island are kind of tight fits anyways!“
