I absolutely love this place!! I travel a lot for work and each time I go into a new city I always look for Mexican restaurants near me and I must say that Autentika is a must if you ever travel into PCB. I am always greeted by the employees each time that I go and am treated like family. The food is absolutely amazing and it’s come to the point where I simply say “surprise me” and have them decide what I’ll be eating and I get blown away each time. Richard the owner makes the best margaritas and ask for Lucy to be your server. I will recommend Autentika to anyone for it truly is a 5 star experience all around.

i’m so tired of going to this restaurant and always leaving unhappy. last night i just wanted to get some food with my family. Once we received our food we discovered hair and when we tried to reach out about a refund, their MANAGER was the rudest of all and talked to my wife like we were children. This is third time we’ve been to this establishment, and the second time we have found hair. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt the first two times of terrible service but this third time is my last straw. Especially after my wife was humiliated on the phone by the manager. If you eat here make sure to bring ur flossers!!!

NEVER IN MY LIFE have I had such a terrible restraunt experience. Not only did I find literal clumps of hair in my food that looked like it was pulled straight out of a shower drain, but it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of the manager. When I finally did she was EXTREMELY rude. She spoke to me like an incompetent child, she basically called me stupid and tried to gaslight me, and then when she asked what she could do to fix this and I said give me a refund she repeatedly pushed that request under the rug and covered it with a “you’re just not understanding”. NEVER EVER EVER will I step fooot back in this place and I think it should be shut down.

SO! My mom ordered takeout for me and some other kids and to our knowledge the other orders excluding mine were not compromised at all or at least not to this level. I found HAIR in my food. It’s wiped on the top of the box to show how I picked it out of the food, pollo crema to be exact. How could this even happen. She walked from the condo to the restaurant and back only to find this is my literal takeout. (She would make this trip a second time for the same re-made order with more hair in it.) I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around how this much human hair could go unnoticed when boxing up my food. I’ve worked as a server in restaurants since I was 14 and I have never seen or experienced anything like this. Clumps of hair and knots of it were found, yes I did examine up close and yes there were follicles and even a split end. Mom called the restaurant back and was hung up on when she asked for a manager. I call back and I’m obviously not forgiving until I can personally speak to a manager. They kept telling me I would have to wait until Monday to speak to one but we leave tonight and I’m getting my refund tonight. Finally they give my number to an on call manager and I am greeted with nothing but rudeness. She badgered me repeatedly on what I wanted but when I said a refund on my order she would immediately interrupt me with “you’re not listening to me” even went as far as to tell me I don’t know how to listen. This would be fair if I came off as hostile as she did but I know this game and she was not letting up on being an awful person and refusing to refund the order. I know she responds to these and I’d like everyone to know after a very long phone call of being interrupted and berated by your useless comments on how you wanted to make it better but the only solution was for me to move on with my day, she later called my mother back and apologized and gave a full refund. (She was only willing to refund my order at first after much fighting for even that refund) I’d like the manager to understand that when you find that amount of hair in something the rest of the orders become inedible, she heard me say it over the phone but I’m telling you again. How you spoke to me and “tried to remedy” an unfixable situation will forever haunt me. I took two bites before I noticed, that will haunt me.

Great authentic Mexican food. Nothing like the chain restaurants, Qdoba, Chipotle, etc...
Our chairs were back to back with other table, waitress waited over 20 mins to give us our water and they were out of straws? Gave us a small guacamole when we ordered a large and forgot some of our order so we had to wait for some of our food. The waitress didn’t ask 1 time if we needed anything or how our food was just brought out the food and then waited around at our table as we were getting cash out to tip which was awkward. Seemed very unorganized.

Good all around! Normal crowd, family friendly, fresh food, nice waitstaff, clean place. Eating out at the beach is 50/50 good and bad, but this place was solid. Prices were reasonable, too.
