About our 15th visit to Billy's. Each visit has been very good. Staff and food are great and prices are reasonable. Love the shrimp and the crawfish!

This is a great spot. Yes I missed out on their blue crab, but when things come in fresh it’s first in first out. Their snow crab is good, but their fresh raw oysters are excellent. They are the smaller ones, but this that love oysters know the small ones taste so much better than the large ones. The key lime pie is pretty good too. Being from the the Texas Gulf Coast, I will be back.

I ordered the fried platter and what a let down! For almost $30 I expect good food and a decent portion. It was neither. The coleslaw and oysters were both inedible, the flounder was overcooked and I only got one little filet, I also only received one scallop which was also overcooked, the shrimp were extremely tiny and I only received three (they were the best thing about the meal). And then to top it off I got a slight case of food poisoning. I work HARD for my money and to waste it like this is beyond disappointing.

We absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just what you need in a shabby beach seafood joint. The staff are all really friendly but a bit frazzled due to how busy they always are. It is family owned and apparently many of the family members work there. The oysters are delicious and it is so refreshing to be able to get a dozen oysters for 18 bucks as opposed to so many inland so called "Oyster Bars" where they have selections from various bays in Canada, the Pacific Northwest and they describe them like they were fine wines and they price them in a similar aristocratic way. COME ON. just give some good honest apalachicola bay oysters and keep em coming. If you aren't able to make it all the way to New Orleans for your favorite spicy Crawfish. Just go to Billy's they are good sized, generous portions and very spicy, just like in NOLA. If you are in the area, you gotta go.
