Was looking forward to this night but unfortunately Compass fell flat. Wasn't very busy when we arrived, got seated quickly then placed order for drinks and food. Drinks came pretty quickly but after an hour without any word on the food had to seek out our server who admitted he didn't put the order in. Then I had to repeat the order a couple times for him to remember it right since he wasn't writing anything down. Food was run of the mill and they comped the drinks but all around I was greatly disappointed. Wouldn't return here.

The food was delicious, I had the fish and chips and realize that it’s a new menu and new chef!

We enjoyed our time at Compass Bar! Ordered their special of the day and it was a hit! Food is very delicious, would definitely recommend this place and come back myself! Along with great food you get the best beach view from the 4th floor, where the restaurant located!

Wow, the view from this restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. It sits up high, overlooking the Gulf, which alone warrants a 5-star rating. We were lucky enough to enjoy the ambiance of live music during our meal, which made the experience even better. The new chef is incredibly talented, and it showed in my order of the daily special - White Pasta Florentine with shrimp - and my wife's Cajun shrimp on gouda grits. Both dishes were delicious. I'm excited to come back and try the seared mahi next time. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.

I hate to say it, but the majority of hotel bars and restaurants seem pretty meh to me. That is not the case with the Compass. To keep it simple: friendly staff, solid cocktails, and a great view. Compass Kitchen is also the location of the Springhill Hotel's complimentary breakfast which was better than average as well. The morning crew was no less friendly and kept all the food offerings stocked, hot, and fresh and the arts clean. Things to know: * Grits are not always served, but the biscuits and gravy were nothing to complain about. * Non-hotel guest parking seems scarce, which is not unusual for Panama City.

Our waitress was amazing, food tasted great my husband had trouble finding something on the menu. But the ceasar salad was so so good! The lobby looks fantastic and the view is perfect!

After waiting for 20 minutes after ordering wish I left. I would avoid the tuna dip it was not fresh or appetizing. I definitely left this place dissatisfied after spending $75 on 2 entrees and an appetizer.

No fault of this restaurant but open table has posted the wrong menu for them. Go through there website to see what they really have.

This is an open air area in a hotel lobby area. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Open Table has posted the wrong menu so that was disappointing but no fault of the staff. Apparently this issue has already been reported to Open Table but they have not fixed the issue.

Food was great, however service was terrible. We had reservations but no clue where to check in had to ask front desk. Had to sit at a table that wasn't clean, someone finally came and brought menus. Came back hot drink and app order, all brought back quickly, however then our actual waitress came and took our entree order, that was the last we saw of her. Almost had to beg to pay, was supposed to get a free drink as we played and won bingo there, never got the drink, gave up and left. The waitress was too busy behind the bar taking selfies with others.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the beach front like we had booked. This is very unfortunate because the beach front views were a very important reason we came to Panama City Beach. It certainly was disappointing and not a great way to start our vacation here.

The vew is wonderful and staff is friendly. The layout is different with the lobby on the 4th floor. It was weird that you needed your key card to go in and out of the pool and cabana areas. It was wonderful that they offer EV charging for hybrid vehicles, but they were always filled up by regular gas vehicles that were not charging. It was very frustrating because there are no other charging alternatives in Panama City Beach. Wish they would enforce the EV charging only spots with high visibility paint on the ground and signs. People are really inconsiderate about EV cars.

Conveniently located near hotel check in with floor to ceiling gulf views. Food service stops at 9:30 pm, drinks till closing at 10pm. Menu offers entrees as well as appetizers such as crab cakes for $16, consisting of two thin patties: I took two bites though the taste was unfamiliar and couldn’t finish the dish. I would recommend a Cesar salad with added shrimp for $19.

This property has so many great amenities for families! The rooms are spacious and the all-suite setup ensures you will have a sleeper sofa. The breakfast was a real lifesaver, great selection and quality food. Because the rooms do not have a stove/oven or full size fridge it would be harder to stay here again were it not for the breakfast and on-site lounge. The pool and lobby are fantastic lounging areas and the hot tub is hot! The staff was all very friendly in the hallways and struck up conversation with the kids when they passed. We were especially surprised that they let us check in offensively early when we arrived! It really saved the trip to be able to relax right away. Great beachfront views from all the public areas, even if you don't get a gulf view room.
