We are locals now ??. Was her 2 yrs ago had 2 burgers 2 fries and 2 margaritas. It was $100. Went back recently with some friends that wanted to go. My husband ordered two double patrone margaritas - $48??. My unsweetened tea….$3.00. Talk about gouging….If your vacationing, spend your money elsewhere. If you’re local spend your money elsewhere.

Runaway Island offers indoor and outdoor dining with a great view of the beach and gulf. It is always on our dining itinerary when we visit PCB. They have great selections, awesome recipes, and perfect service. It is a highly recommended dining experience.

Excellent food prepared exactly as the menu states. If you've ever pointed to a picture and said...I want this...they do it! Nice, refreshing twist on the traditional seafood offerings everywhere else. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Beware the small "fee" added but they will remove it if you ask. Server said it was for entertainment (we sat inside), beach cleaning and something else. We pay taxes for beach cleaning...not restaurants. Don't let this stop you!!

The music was very entertaining. My seafood was over cooked, the service was very slow, they charge a fee for using a credit card. The music was entertaining. On the beach and a beautiful sunset.

Food was very good, the waitress was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere, well... Right on the Beach ?️. Didn't have to wait for a table. Parking was available,(on a Saturday night). The only improvement would be is the wait staff needs to anticipate the needs of the customer. Ex, my salad was delivered and I had to ask for utensils and napkins. Also, the beer wasn't that cold. Maybe our waitress was new. She was very friendly and checked on us frequently.

Great Mahi tacos, but the flour tortillas shells they were served in were stale. For the price paid, I thought they would pay attention to detail like this. Also, the pretzel appetizer was enough for one person, not two. For $14.00, just save your money....didn't see anything special at $2.00 a bite. Our waiter was kind and patient. The bathrooms were clean and better than other restaurants nearby. I loved that this place was right on the beach. We had dinner and then went out to the beach to watch the sunset and just enjoy the ambiance. We would definitely come back, but I would order something else.

This is a great restaurant on the beach with a wonderful view. Order the Chef special. Swordfish topped with grilled shrimp and asparagus with a fantastic Quinoa. The only issue was the entry and interaction with the host. Our server Cody was Fantastic. Super helpful and very prompt. 5 stars for him. Would definitely come back and highly recommend the Chef special.

My husband and I were looking for a nice seafood dinner and stumbled across Runaway Island. The wait was about 10 minutes, so it's not too bad for a beach restaurant. Our waiter, Garnell (Darnell but with a G), was so friendly, super attentive, and quick! He had several tables, and he made sure each one was well taken care of. As far as food is concerned, I highly recommend the St Joe Shrimp (fried). My hubs had the Islamorada basket and wasn't a fan of the fish but said his shrimp was great. He said the fish just needed some seasoning, but he ate it, so it wasn't bad at all!
