Manager is a creep. Horrible place to work. Kitchen cannot handle the volume of people so always a long wait.

I was informed by corporate management that the Pier Park Shoneys is not scheduled to reopen.

Food is not as good as it was. And a little expensive.

When you walk in, they have a beautiful bar that Pier Park workers probably use to drink away their misery after closing. Once you get past that, it's pretty rough. They had this really bad looking buffet with a bunch of old looking breakfast stuff at dinner time. We ordered off the menu and it didn't get much better. I'm not sure how this place stays in business with so many better options close by.

Their breakfast buffet is a joke. After my 8th plate my waiter asked me to slow down. I then promptly punch her in the face and suffered a heart attack that required a triple bypass surgery costing me $54,000. Stay away.

Love the new look. Can’t wait tell it opens back up. Go Shoneys.

Expensive, borderline clean with moldy bathroom, baseboard need painting, but excellent beds. Allows small dogs.

Only had 2 people working the whole restaurant, one waitress and one cook! The buffet food did not look very fresh nor hot. The waitress took bacon from the buffet and gave it to the cook who placed it on our plates and it was completely cold. The staff was very nice but only having 2 people didnt make sense... we wont go back.

Good breakfast buffet and nice staff. Buffet food could be a little warmer but good experience overall.

Waited over 30 minutes to be seated obviously understaffed food was under cooked and the only 3 waitresses there were stressed to the max It was a hostile environment because of the wait Was so glad to find a shoneys here but will never return IHOP was our first choice and we should’ve stuck to that Get it together or close please

Lukewarm service, old food, premium price. Visited with family and had a subpar dinner - soggy chicken, some unidentified meat product, hard whipped cream, stale shortcake, and iron mashed potatoes. The food wasn't cold, but definitely not hot nor fresh. For 16 dollars per person (13 dollars a person and 3 per drink), I would expect something a little better or a little less costly (especially if it's slow). We've been here a few times and it seems worse each time. Plus, we felt like we were intruding and an annoyance to the staff on duty. Sorry we interrupted folks! We won't come back! I promise! Note: Breakfast buffet isn't bad and the fresh cooked meal was okay- that's why this place gets a 2 instead of a 1.
