I've been to this sonic three times. This is the only time I've been able to actually get something off the menu. The first time "the milkshake machine wasn't working", the second time they were cash only. This time we parked in one of the drive up spots and took about 5 minutes to decide on what we wanted before pressing the button to order.The lady sounded a tad confused and told us they were drive through only. I thought "okay, it's 10pm, maybe they're short staffed and don't have runners". We pulled up behind someone who had been in the drive through since we pulled in. He finally drove away after a minute. Not sure if he decided he didn't want anything or what.We told the lady on the speaker what we wanted and she struggled to find it in the POS. She asked someone else where it was but miscommunicated and added the wrong thing. We corrected her and got our total then paid.When we got home the shakes were just ice cream in a cup with chucks of Oreo on top. They weren't even shakes. I know Sonic shakes are thick but these were not shakes. I threw them both in our blender.Wouldn't recommend this particular Sonic.

Was very busy at this location and only had maybe 3 or 4 workers total so we waited a while but the lady doing the milkshakes, which was all we got, worked he butt off to make shakes and take drive thru orders. I give her mad props. The only thing I'd say that wasn't bad but wasn't great was 2 of the shakes we got, Oreo cheesecake that we get often, was a bit more bitter like straight cream cheese than we like but otherwise great food, typical prices which wasn't too bad now that I think about it. $36 for 4 LG and 1 small shake but best of all great service and it doesn't have to be fast to be great so thanks!Parking: Drive end kind of parking. Pull in with big screen on your driver side or some locations also have a drive thru window.Kid-friendliness: They have public restrooms for all even non paying customers accessible outside and they have places/tables set up outside for people to sit and enjoy and stretch from long drives and also to let the kids run around and burn off some energy lol. They really cater to children. Great family place for sure. See lots of teenagers that will hangout there as well and as long as they are buying and behaving they allow them to stay and hangout.

It’s clear from the reviews over the last month or so that the problem of the lack of staff is not getting better. I ordered in the app, pulled into a stall, checked in, waited 35 minutes (and pushed the red button 3 times over that time) to finally be told “drive thru only”. I would have been ok hearing it the 1st time, but it took 35 minutes for anyone to tell me. If I had not already paid I would have just left. The poor lady was working the entire place by herself. I don’t blame her. I just think that perhaps shutting the restaurant down until they can hire and train adequate staff is a good idea. As it is, my kids and I will opt for blizzards instead of blasts from here on out until the reviews indicate that things have improved.

Ordered 3 teas....one unsweetened, one sweet and one half and half, with extra ice. Teas come out with no mark to identify which is which. We ask the girl...she has no idea, and I guess expected us to just try them all and share germs. My tea had barely any ice so I asked for more and was told "I made all of those drinks and they have plenty of ice". Additionally, our carhop must have been training and this girl was so rude to her in front of us. I sincerely hope that wasn't the manager.

I've been here twice and both times they never answered the red button. Waited 20 min. Just got ignored and the drive thru as well. Waste of time. They should demolish this place.It wouldn't let me give 0 stars, but it's a 0 from me.
Mid April Saturday at 2:30 In the afternoon. 3 cars at this restaurant and no one is answering the drive-through. This is always the worst Sonic. Three drive offs before me. Close this location already because you all surely cant seem to find anyone with a half functioning brain to run this place.Pulled over to write this post and heard someone on the drive through speaker, I pulled up only to find out their blast and milkshake machine is down. Really!? You’re on Panama City Beach!!Unbelievable.

Absolutely appalled at the service that I didn't get. I sat at the kiosk for 15 minutes and didn't hear anything so I decided to go to drive thru and sat there until 12:00am and still got no answer!! No we are closed or can I take your order. FIX THIS PLEASE!

i’m absolutely disappointed with how my experience went at this sonic.. This location closes at 12 i arrived at 11:15 at the kiosk, i pressed the red button at the kiosk waited for about 15 minutes with no response from any of the workers, as did many other people at other kiosk who did end up leaving because of no response. I then proceeded to go through the drive through only to be waiting in the line until 12 once i got to the part to place my order there was no answer, not even someone saying they were closed… there was multiple workers in the kitchen from what i seen and nobody being served. I ended up leaving, and i don’t think i will be returning unless they get put under new management.. all i can get from my experience is that these employees were lazy, and not doing there job. i really hope something is fixed about this. if people don’t wanna do there job right then they don’t need the job.
