I have loved this place since high school ( the owners are as close to local heroes as you can get for always having the right food at odd hours) Since opening this new spot, I still find myself ordering the same thing I did in high school the cheeseburger special it always hits. I'm really excited that they joined DoorDash For those lazy evenings . If you like good food, By amazing local folks this is the spot . It really doesn't matter if you're looking for breakfast at all hours, daily specials, or food for picky toddlers there really is something for everyone.

I placed 3 orders of Hashbrowns with bacon and cheese online based off of the picture menu that clearly showed Hashbrowns covered in bacon and cheese but when I received my order, it was simply 3 orders of plain Hashbrowns. When I called Coram's to attempt a remedy, the girl pulled up the same menu and verified that I was not wrong, the menu does show Hashbrowns with bacon and cheese as well as has it printed out. They did nothing to rectify the misprint. Refused to send the correct order. Instead, She just kept explaining to me the price difference between the Hashbrowns that I unknowingly and misleadingly ordered and what I was supposed to get. I've lived here my entire life and have grown up enjoying Coram's. I honestly believed that they ran a better establishment than this. I am completely baffled by the blatant misprint and cannot understand how a restaurant can acknowledge the screw up, yet do nothing to remedy it. Needless to say... I think I'll stick with Waffle House from now on.

Okay I have eaten here several times lately (close to job I'm working) Food is good waitress is always great Today I did something I had not done prior I sat at a booth facing the cook and grill The and equipment were disgustingly nasty (food allover floor and equipment) The Cook was handling food cooked as well as raw and never washed or wiped his hands once while I was sitting I watched him cross contaminate food items several times And Even saw him put his unclean hands on a older woman's COOKED OMLETTE to get the egg placement right for appearance I saw him grab Onions Ham bacon and raw hamburger out of different containers and never clean his hands If you are going with a open grill kitchen Please try and show some cleanliness and pride in the way you prepare peoples meals But after this experience I will not be returning I feel safer eating at Taco Bell or the gas station across the street than in Charlie CoramsVegetarian options: I would be very skeptical as to what all went in my food or what had been handled prior to preparing my mealDietary restrictions: I would be very skeptical as to what all went in my food or what had been handled prior to preparing my meal

I ordered a cheeseburger and the patty was frozen little store-bought patty when I expected a homemade burger patty where someone puts it together with their hands and not bought a little tiny piece of frozen burger cooked on the grill. Tomi, if you go to a diner for a burger it should be a big thick juicy piece of meat not a little tiny piece of store-bought hamburger.

Usually come for breakfast but today I had the lunch special, beef tips and rice with turnip greens, Lima beans, cornbread and cake for dessert. The greens were seasoned perfectly as was the beans. Beef tips were good, cornbread was Jiffy mix, and all in all it was very good, definitely worth it!! Service was great too
