In my opinion, the food wasn’t good. The woman who runs the counter is absolutely so sweet. But I just think there’s better Chinese food places. She’s very quick with the food but it’s expensive for not so good. Also, they only have large portions so they charge you for the only damn thing they have. $10-$11 for this small box….yikes.

It's old, but the taste is legendary.The place is not a fine dining date night kind of place, but hear me out: the food is as good as it gets. I tried panda express and chow time around here, but I would say China 1 has got it right when it comes to authentic chinese cooking. Imagine yourself traveling to China and eating great grandmother's cooking. That's what you'll get. None of the messy fancy chemicals, but just the pure spices and the ingredients coming through.I stopped by on Wednesday at 1148 and I was done with my food by 1220. I ordered the fried rice with chicken wings which came out to $9. Which is cheaper than Mc Donalds or any fastfood meal deal. I believe I got 7-8 fried pieces with a generous amount of fried rice. The container was packed to the full. The Chicken was marinated to perfection, and the golden crisp of the skin was not overly breaded nor soggy. It was a delight to bite into the crunchiness of the skin and into the juicy chicken meat. The fried rice was also easy to enjoy because it wasn't sticky and it also wasn't too salty. The rice went together perfectly with the chicken.It's impossible to get a decent meal for $9 these days, but China 1 is doing it right.

China 1 has great Chinese food. It's worth the wait for it to be prepared fresh. The cheese wontons (Crab Rangoon) were delicious. It pays to ask questions, as I've just been assuming they didn't have Crab Rangoon, it's just labeled cheese wontons!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options to choose from that are clearly labeled as vegetarian dishes. I am a retired vegetarian and would have been very satisfied with the choices they offer.Parking: Parking is a breeze with a large parking lot being that it's in the same plaza as Publix.

After 10 years of being able to obtain chicken with broccoli in white sauce, all of a sudden they no longer offer it unless you buy the large container. I don't know what their problem is these days unless it's cost but they said they were unable to measure it properly in small batches. I know that not to be true because it was always delicious when I got it before for the lunch special or for the combination platter for dinner. I will never recommend this place again. All the best Chinese restaurants never serve chicken in brown sauce. They automatically prepare it with white sauce without having to ask for it.

This is by far the best Chinese in all of Panama city for 100 miles. i didn't care to eat Chinese till my wife brought this home.
Honestly a hole in the wall. Came in when they were dead and was surprised beyond belief. Food was fresh, hot, and ready quickly One of the best Asian takeout places in the area!! I definitely fw them again.Oh yeah and when you go, get the teriyaki chicken with the lomein and egg rolls on the side (egg rolls were super crispy)

My family and I have always ordered our Chinese food from China One. Now my wife and I would never trust another Chinese restaurant other than China One. Never a bad meal with them and the price is reasonable.The most friendly and authentic Chinese restaurant in town. I would give them more stars but 5 is all I can.
