What a great evening! The food was quite tasty, including the special diet selections; the children’s meals were appealing and enjoyed; the space, both indoors and out, was conducive to visiting with everyone easily; the service was wonderful! Christine and Bailey were attentive to every need, and very pleasant and efficient. Kudos!

My food was delicious. The Parmesan oysters were delicious, fish and chips, and the steak. However, my husband ordered Mahi mahi. was very bland as well as the salmon. The restaurant was very nice inside, we were seated outside it was beautiful. Our waitress was a very sweet, good service. They kept forgetting to give us utensils.

First time in panama and we decided to try this restaurant very beautiful outside and inside clean. Ordered a steak we got carry out, friendly staff. Just talking to the bar attendant and someone at the restaurant paid for our drinks and as we were leaving she told the gentlemen that it was our Anniversary and they all wished us a happy anniversary and hoped our stay was great.THE STEAK WAS MOUTH WATERING

Terrible service from a waitress with a crappy attitude. Cold food, messed up orders. Waitress up charged because they didn’t have what we ordered and she substituted. Then argued that she was right for charging more. Will not be back

Not worth the money even with a coupon. Scampi with little garlic butter sauce and cold baked potato with mahi mahi. Nice setting and okay service.

This is our 3rd time here since Shrimp Boat opened. First 2 times we were disappointed and finally decided to try again. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was okay tonight. They were out of the ingredients for one of their signature drinks and out of crab claws. We were seated at 6:15 and it was a slow night so it's not like they ran out of supplies tonight. The fresh baked bread is none other than Sister Shuberts frozen rolls that we cook often at home, so if you are wanting fancy restaurant fresh bread, this is not the place. The roasted oysters were good and husband had the special, 2 lobster tails which he says were good but a bit rubbery. He also had the tuna dip appetizer which was dry and not nearly as good as the tuna dip at several other local restaurants. We wish the Shrimp Boat would step up its food to match the lovely atmosphere.

This restaurant is located on the water in a marina. Wonderful view plus good food, drink and service. We sat in restaurant, but also has an oyster bar and a bourbon bar areas. Nice sized portions at a reasonable price for an upscale dining experience. Has outdoor and indoor seating.

Paid $25 for 4 bites of undercooked scallopes and oversteamed spinach. The $8 baked potato (that only came with butter and sour cream, no chives, no cheese, no bacon, plain as the day is long) was hard as a rock. Waited over 45 minutes to get our food. Management did not have enough staff. The salad was good as well as the oysters but you can get oysters and a salad anywhere on the beach and for less money. The high end aesthetic had me and the family looking forward to a great time but we were very disappointed.

Food was delicious. We had the specials of the day for dinner. My husband had filet mignon topped with crab meat and served with fingerling potatoes. The only downside to his meal was that it only came with one small single potato cut in half. That was also the only side served with husband's meal. There was no additional vegetables or a salad or soup. I got the red snapper on mushroom risotto. My meal also came with another side. I choose double mushroom risotto. I'm glad I did because it was delicious and I was able to give my extra portion to my husband. The restaurant was spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas with Christmas music playing.

I give this place 2 stars only because of the sunset view we had. I was disappointed to see the lack of service we received. The food was just barely warm when it was brought to us. I remember when this place first opened its doors for business and it was awesome back then. It's been a few years since I've been back here. Living in the area it used to be a favorite spot to go eat. I sadly cannot say that now. The oysters on half shell was the best part of the dinner. Other than that we just paid a bunch of money to watch the sunset from the deck.

The food was fabulous! We had oysters and gaitor bites to start. The grouper imperial was amazing. We even had dessert and the cheesecake and lava cake were the perfect end to our meal.

I've been here a few times and it's always nice. My cousin got married here and they did a wonderful job! It was beautiful! I didn't take a lot of pictures, because I was spending time with my family, but I would recommend this for sure!!

My husband and I visited a friend who just moved to Panama City. People need to leave the touristy Panama City Beach, go across the Hathaway Bridge and venture to downtown Panama City. It's been WAY too long since we've been and what a treat. We took a lovely walk to the Shrimp Boat. Had perfect cocktails at the bar and was then seated at a table overlooking the bay/Marina. Amanda was our waiter and what a delight she was!!! We started with the crab claws, which were perfectly fried and the bacon wrapped shrimp! I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi, my husband had the Grouper Imperial and our friend had the steak. All was amazing!! Thank you, Shrimp Boat for a GREAT NIGHT!!!!
