“I’d say it’s what Starbucks wants to be when they grow up. Less about the endless fleeting coffee combos, and more about the service, ambience and having a good meal. They remember your name and preferences. I enjoy this little haven when taking a break from the office, or sometimes, I bring my office here. Did I mention the coconut banana bread….yummmmm. Carmela’s Parkland is my first cup most mornings:-)Dietary restrictions: I just love the healthier bowl options they introduced recently. If you’re watching your waist….with a hint of caffeine, this can be the place for you.Parking: It’s located in a mini/quaint plaza so plenty of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Very open to kids and their playful nature. They’ve got informative general knowledge picture books, games, and a huge chalkboard of your kids like to write or draw. They can leave their mark :-)”

They had a great selection of rotating Gelatos, everything made in house. I tried the white chocolate cinnamon affagato. My wife had the banana creme which she is still talking about. “Fusion food done right. In SFL fusion doesn't always translates to good food. Here, they do it well. And although their flavors may seem to not stray too far to be fully innovative, the ingredients were extremely fresh which is a must in any sushi restaurant. Service was top notch and shootout to Stephanie whose recommended plates were delicious.I definitely recommend.”

“I wanted to update the review to say that China Wok has had new owners for some time now and they make their own chili oil. When I tell you, this chili oil is absolutely phenomenally delicious I MEAN IT! It's only $7 for a 16 oz jar. It can last some people months but if you're like me, you will quickly become obsessed with it and eat it with every meal. I went through one jar in less than a month! I also want to add that the new owners are a husband and wife. Both of them are so nice to me. I get butterflies when I come here because I'm so excited to get my chili oil and see these wonderful people! The woman, whom I have to learn her name, is so amazing and kind! She makes jokes with me and they warm my heart. Truly incredible people that are running an awesome business. They could have this chili oil in stores if they wanted to!! It's THAT GOOD!!”

“Best authentic Italian food in Parkland, this is quickly becoming our new go-to restaurant, the staff are always so welcoming and the service is amazing, especially Anthony! Manager always swings by the table to say hello. Love trying something different each time and each meal has been better than the last.”

“All of the food was so incredibly prepared with fresh ingredients. A truly authentic Italian restaurant. The al fresco Mediterranean style dining room is so cute, what a vibe. The garlic knots were out of this world, super garlicky. My boyfriend and I weren't starving so we decided to share a regular order of chicken piccata and it was huge! So big we were able to share it and still took plenty home. The couple sitting next to us also shared a chicken dish and soup and had plenty left over, great healthy portion sizes! The bartender/ manager was so sweet, very attentive and made great recommendations. The only thing is that they only have beer and wine so if you are looking to enjoy cocktails the only have high noons, it is not a full bar. Definitely a hit in our book, we will be returning often.”

“This is my absolute favorite spot to grab a sweet treat! The employees are always extremely nice and go out of their way to get samples, of any flavor frozen yogurt you would like to try, for you. The people who leave bad reviews are simply unable to grasp the simple complex that, the more yogurt you put in the cup, the more expensive it’s going to be?. The price is the same it has been for years of me eating at Yogurt Craze. Go try it out it’s amazing!!!!Dietary restrictions: There are sugar free options!Parking: Free and plenty of spots to park!Kid-friendliness: Owners and employees always very sweet to kids! “Great pizza! We have their veggie pizza and hot wings. Everything was delicious. No one had a heart burn after their pizza which to me meant they didn’t have that extra oil from the cheese and not too much tomato sauce. Staff was great! Very nice girls in yeh front and the gentleman that made the pizza for us did a great job, looked like could be the owner . Lots of parking , free and right in front of ten store .”

“This Starbuck’s location is one of my favorite. They are always so friendly and kind. Everyone works quickly even during busy hours. Food is served quickly whether you order in the app or in person. I would highly recommend this location.”

“We had our small wedding on the gazebo. Sabrina was wonderful. She worked with us from the beginning and made sure our wedding was special. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We felt taken care of. My wife has numerous dietary restrictions and Sabrina brought the chef to talk to us about making something special for her. Our entire experience was great.”

“This was my first time here and let me say… not my last!! I have been wanting to come here about three months when I saw a Facebook review. Yesterday, finally had the opportunity to do so. I went with my mother and aunt. The welcome crew as soon as you walk through those doors was so inviting and friendly. Being our first time there and our waiter was very patience with us and gave us some suggestions . Now when you hungry you usually eat with your eyes not your stomach and as soon as the food started to come out we had no room for the main dish. I have to take this time and praise the crew, give them altmost respect, kudos and applaud them (waiters/waitress)for their excellence customer service they gave us. They work as as a team and make it there mission that all tables are attended to even if it not there table. We were blown away with the service!! The service all around was fantastic! I have a funny story before you speak to strangers in another table be careful you never know who you’re talking to. We made small talk with another table he was eating alone we share with him family history and how restaurants today don’t make food like they used to. Now days owners just let there cooks take control of the kitchen even thou they have different authenticity they don’t cook the same way puertorican do. So when you let a cook take control the food does not taste authentic of the food any more. But its not the case here its genuinely authentic puertorican food. We learn first hand we were talking to the owner himself now tell me it’s a small world. Remember It’s a family owned business so go give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.
