“We stayed at the hotel across the street before and after our cruise. When we asked for a food recommendation when we arrived, she told us to go try the “Crack Mac” across the street. We were so glad that she gave us the recommendation. We had been to multiple different restaurants over the previous weeks and this was the first time that EVERYONE was happy with their food. There wasn’t a single complaint. We went on the cruise and I craved the burger and Mac n cheese the entire time. We all agreed that we were going back to Big Daddy J’s when we got back. We did and it was delicious again. If I ever return to Cocoa Beach, Big Daddy J’s will be a must visit for me.“
“From the table bread to the Salmon, Steak, Calamari, Crab tower - EVERYTHING was delicious. Thankfully, we got in before it got busy (around 530pm), we were seated right away. As we were leaving the restaurant was poppin’ with several parties waiting outside - service by Chris was excellent! This restaurant is a MUST if you are on this side of town and are a seafood fan.“
“Loved the food, I don't eat fries often, but theirs, i absolutely had to have them they were the best I have had in a long time! The service was so good, attentive, welcoming, and helpful! Would recommend this place, definitely want to come back to enjoy the outdoor music!“
“I would definitely eat there again! We needed something quick and not too expensive and stopped in for some pizzas. Great outdoor seating, super-friendly staff, and yummy food. Couldn't see the ocean because it was dark, but we were able to walk over to the beach for a few minutes while we waited for our food. Also, the bathroom was amazingly clean, which I would not have expected from a place so close to the beach.“
“This place is so good, the village should be subsidizing it for the privilege of having an establishment of this quality around. Not even kidding, it's that good. You cannot justify being in Cocoa Beach for any length of stay and not stopping in here!Drinks at the bar were phenomenal, and service super quick and friendly. Can't wait to be back on our next Cocoa Beach trip!“
“Quaint little place on Lake Washington road adjacent Publix and Dunkin. Passed by here hundreds of times and always wanted to try; finally did. Very cool place, small pub, several tables, friendly staff, beer on tap, laid back atmosphere, tables outside, great fish and chips. Wish I'd have gone in sooner. Will definitely be back.“
“This is a must stop every time we visit Cocoa Beach. Service is always great, and food is consistently good. You can't beat the view! They have a great selection of drinks and the best part is that they can leave with you to enjoy on the beach (not the street)“
“This place is amazing!!! I am a first timer kava bar patron. This place was perfect. The owner and her son were soo helpful in their suggestion. Samples given. Knowledgeable of each drink and the benefits. Kava, Kratom and kombucha. Lots of flavors. Free popcorn and also has menu items. I tried 1 strawberry kratom tea and 1 watermelon mix kava. My friend has raspberry kombucha. All delicious and after about 30 min i started feeling relaxed. Very nice customers also. Overall couldn't have asked for a better first time experience.“
“Hidden Gem Alert! The Tiny Tavern is My New Favorite SpotIf you're looking for that authentic local bar experience without breaking the bank, The Tiny Tavern is your place. This place is a total gem! The drinks are super affordable, the crowd is all friendly locals, and they have the best little outdoor area for kicking back. They often have live music too, which just adds to the awesome vibe.I love that it's not some fancy, pretentious spot. It's real, it's laid-back, and it's always a good time. If you want to experience a cool slice of local life, this is where you need to be. Trust me, you'll be a regular in no time.“
“All I can say is WOW. I'm a bit of a tough critic and this place is awesome. The bar tender was incredible. The selection is great. Within a few tasters, she made suggestions that were spot on on mixing beers together that I never would have thought. Atmosphere wise, lots of bar games to play for free.To top it off, they give you beer in plastic cup so you can walk around the little downtown area. Truly awesome.“
“Great fun place to just hang out and listen to live music. The band wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either and the tunes were classic rock favorites. The pretzel was HUGE and really good. There is also Karaoke on the weekends before the band.“
“Jonathan's has been around for years and is well known to the locals drinks are decent prices are good food selection is not so great but what they do have is very good also pricing for the food is decent plenty of places to sit down convenient parking and not too far off the beach if you're a tourist visiting I would suggest stopping by there to grab a bite at half the price of what it's going to be on the beach side“
“An awesome place to hang out. I'm always meeting the coolest people. The atmosphere created by the staff is friendly and inviting. I recommend doing some googling about the drinks before you start. It's different than a regular bar but as I said, very cool. ?“
“Everything I love about local business is rolled up into Traditionals. It's creative, it's different, and it's punk rock! They have a killer beer selection and the staff/owners are the absolute best types of people on earth.Get on Facebook and book an appointment with Becca and have a beer while she works her magic. Easily the best barbershop experience I've ever had, and worth every penny!“
“Great sea food restaurant. The food was excellent, everything was just right. Prices are quite high by American standards, but it's worth it!Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces available around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Our children were treated very courteously and they also understood special requests!“
“Well I've found the Florida Grail of Hot wings here at Keywest bar. It is a sports bar so there is plenty to do in that area. But I just go for the wings. Friendly regulars meet here.Being from Memphis where I think you find an all time favorite from D'Bo's wings. These remind me so much of that experience I think you will agree they have a great hot wing.“
“Super fun spot for some dancing. Keep in mind they don't open till 10. (Kinda late for us millennials). This is the spot if you want the younger crowd and the younger music that's popular now. We didn't stay long but will come back next time!“
“Friendly staff, dog friendly, and good beer. What more do you need? A food truck parked outside, you say? They have that too! Board games and cards? They have that too? An outdoor beer garden? You guessed it, they have one of those too. They have a great rotating selection of beers that make this place a must when you're in Cocoa Village.“
“I can't say enough about Flames. We celebrated our Mom's birthday this past Saturday and we where so blessed to be served by Dee and Brenda. The tandom did such a great job. Dee was so incredibly knowledgeball and made our choice clear and easy. Her wine suggestions where impecable and her attitude was formidable. Brenda was always smileing and bringing joy to the table. Thanks to the crew for such a wonderful gastronomic experience. Top of the class!“
“Low Key ? and super chill but apparently they have lots of local bands pretty frequently. Bar tenders are great, very generous and prices are good. It’s a few steps from the beach ?️ and of course it’s also connected to the HIGH KEY ? Category 5 Bar in the front.“
“Very local bar that my sisters and I took my deceased mother's boyfriend to. He is a frequent patron to this bar as it is right down the street. The people all know him and I kind of felt I was in Cheers, lol. The service was excellent and they made us feel right at home, they did harass my mom's boyfriend about showing up with 3 women, but heck he is 91 years old.“
“Far and away the best, most consistently outstanding sushi place in the area. We lived here for years, and visited Haru almost weekly, and just came back after 4 years away, and it seems to have only gotten better.Amazing selection, artistic preparation. The A5 Waygu sashimi was melt in the mouth, the Toro Tartare appetizer was exceptional. We shared an Omakase selection of sushi/sashimi that forced us to be quiet and slow down just to savor every piece.Brian and Knox are absolute artists that bring a level of excellence to sushi in Melbourne that is unmatched.“
“What a wonderful find!My wife and I stumbled onto Coaster's for dinner and could not have been more pleased with our experience. For a taphouse, the food was absolutely exquisite. I ordered mussels in a truffle cream sause, and my wife had a french dip sandwich. The mussels were the best I have ever experienced, and my wife's sandwich was flavorful and satisfying. Gavin provided us with excellent service and helped us find excellent complementary brews for our meal. It was one of the finest evenings we've had in some time. Highly recommended!“
“I was invited to a private party at Lourdes Library. I couldn't believe how cool the lobby is! The "Librarian" was no-nonsense and asked what book we were looking for. Once we found our book, we had our library card stamped and were led through a secret door into the bar. Inside was something out of the prohibition-period with possibly the coolest bartenders and custom-crafted drinks. They knocked it out of the park!“
“Absolutely an amazing place! The hospitality is very homey and friendly. Environment is stunning! I saw an event on Facebook for getting hair tinsel done for my daughter. As my daughter is 7 I was nervous about bringing her to a winery however it was absolutely amazing and they treated us as family. Will definitely be back and it's listed as a go-to for a relaxing peaceful night!“
“Nice quiet place for dinner. Hard to find a place where you can go with a small group and actually hear each other. Great food. Love the calzones and Long Island Ice Tea.Parking: There are other businesses in this plaza so if you go before 5 PM, it is difficult sometimes to find parking but if you head there close to five, everybody is leaving and you should be able to get in fairly easy.“
“Okay so I’m a HUGE FOODIE!! I could honestly kick myself in the butt because I didn’t take pics prior to me eating. Anyhoo…this should be a #1 pick for food, drinks and service when visiting Cocoa Beach. There’s so many TV to watch games and they even mark the TVs to make sure you know what game is being watched. Food was fast and very tasty - DO NOT EXPECT SMALL PORTIONS- you get your money’s worth. Let’s get into service - JP was on point!! He was checking on us constantly ensuring we were good and everything was to our liking. He offered the best of the menu and very accommodating. I absolutely love a server who enjoys our company as much as we enjoyed his. Now to the best of the best - Drinks!! OMGGG… you get your money’s worth, strong and not overpriced, you can definitely find yourself in the bushes after the mimosas- best I’ve had in Florida yet!! JP is definitely a go to for food, drinks and FL hospitality! I’ll update more photos on my next visit“
“Hit this spot on our bar hopping adventure as well. The crowd here is a bit older but we enjoyed the music. We just had a simple rum and coke which was poured pretty strong! They have tons of space inside and out for socializing. Clean bathrooms!“
“We stopped by for the first time on vacation to celebrate a birthday. We loved our veggie burgers (the best I've ever had and I'm a self-proclaimed vegan burger conesuer)! The chips and salsa are also stellar! The atmosphere was cozy and family friendly. Thank you all for everything!Kid-friendliness: We brought our toddler and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Once he had his chips, he was happy and quiet.“
“Decided to go for a birthday lunch on Easter day. Thought it would be much more crowded, but we were able to get a seat immediately. I had heard such good things about this place and was very excited to try it.We started off with the fish dip, which we could have stopped at there. Highly recommend. Good portion size and the extras are very good also. Love the pirate chips that came with. We went on to have the swordfish entree, ahi poke bowl, and the Buffalo chicken sand with fries. It's all very tasty and fresh tasting. It had been many years since having swordfish, I was impressed with the freshness and serving with rice. I can vouch for the rest as well. Because I got a taste of each, considering this was my first visit. All very good and fresh! The service was fantastic, and the staff all worked together as a team in getting the food and drink out to the tables. Kudos!I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food, drinks and excellent customer service. I will be back.“
“Double Tapp Grill- Melbourne 4.5 Stars In my very younger years I served as what is now known as a "first responder." The term double tapp comes from the order of your training officer to place two bullets center mass to the chest of your adversary. The connotation as it applies to this restaurant is apropos. The Double Tapp Grill is really an ancillary afterthought to the gun shoppe and gun range attached to this Eatery. While the range and gun store are filled with people deluded by the Babbittry of their lives, little do they know the exquisite taste delights that exist just a few feet away. The menu here is unique I ordered fried cheese curds, gator tail and frog legs. The curds were fried and I knew immediately they had been prepared on premises. The batter is light and allows the flavor of the cheese to shine. The frog legs were light fried with no batter. I found this to be original because usually cooks turn them into chicken wings but here they were quick fried, then daintily covered in a mango habanero sauce that had the proper balance and depth of flavor. The gator tail however was the real star. Alligator essentially always bland. Gideon, the chef at Double Tapp, has created a dredge that knocks your socks off. It is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I could have eaten another order they are so good. The owners of this restaurant really care about their food quality and it is so nice to see. Bravo!!! Big Boy says Try It!!!!“
“Me and my husband came in last night for our first time… The food was amazing and our waitress hayley was such a sweetheart and very entertaining… Her and one of her other coworkers made our night by giving us a nice laugh and was constantly checking up on us. Great first experience. We will certainly be back.“
“I've drove by here a bunch of times so had to check it out. Its a cool bar with games set up outside. Beer was cold and the bartender was prompt and polite.I understand FL is pretty humid at times but wiping off the outside seating would be clutch.“
“Love it! Right off the road, the gateway to the entire beach area! The lights, the palm trees, AMAZING service the "big dude" (I am so sorry , I never got your name) was super awesome to my entire family - very friendly!! Really made our first trip to Florida outstanding! We went here twice in a week! Can't wait to come back next year!! ????“
“This place is a GEM. BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. House salad was also amazing and i finished all of it! Had the BEST server Megan, she had amazing service and really made it an enjoyable time for me and my friend. plus it is not too expensive either! LOVE PUB AMERICANA!!! GO GET A BURGER NOW!!!!“
“If you want a drink and a break from the rigors of life, then Sully's is DEFINATELY A GO TO for the 'cure' of Hipster Hangouts. The bar crowd Is diametrically opposite in the AM to early PM. The nights and weekends are rambunctious, yet fun crowds. If you wanna check out local talent and the rising rockers, then get your drink on at Sully's Backstreet Bar. Deb is an awesome bartender with a smile for all, all about the service, and a quick wit that leaves you smiling. So do yourself a favor and try the two sides of Sully's.“
“Some friends and I came to see the Iron Maidens at Wynfields back on October 20th, 2022. Tickets were about $30, which is great for a great band if their stature. Even though we arrived early, the line to get in was wrapped around the building. Wynfield's looks unassuming from the outside yet its surprisingly large once you enter. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff did a great job keeping up with the masses. The bar area is huge and takes up a lot of space, but I don't wish it gone; if I was a local here, I would say it's iconic to the venue and evokes a sense of nostalgia to the staff and their customers. There is a decent sized dancefloor in front of the main stage however the stage is not high enough for everyone in the back to get a good view of the band. The overall sound here was pretty good; however, the lighting was horrible. I probably took 200 photos and maybe 25 of them came out great. What's up with the green, red, and blue lighting for the entire show??? Please add some white lighting in there so we can see what the hell is going on. Oh yeah, and the smoke machines only enhance the poor lighting situation so, please keep the smoke down to a few songs, thank you! All-in-all, the two bands, Whiplash (Metallica Tribute) and the Iron Maidens really killed it on this night. Wynfield's is just small enough that we had a chance to meet with the musicians after the show for a photo op, Love this! Although I don't make it to Satellite Beach often, when I do, I look forward to checking out Wynfield's again.“
“This bar is easily one of the best around! There are so many pool tables, and best of all the bartender MEGAN is literally the best bartender ever! What great fun. It has been a really good experience, and our bartender absolutely made our time 1,000 times better I will be recommending chalkies to my friends.“
“We were in town for two nights before going on a cruise and found Shenanigans Pub. It was such a pleasant and fun atmosphere. The owner/bartender was very personable and the patrons were very helpful with touristy suggestions. It was a nice relaxing place to hang out.“
“We love the view! of being right on the ocean, seeing the Cruise Ships on the horizon departing Cape Canaveral.?️The atmosphere with live music ? & the good company of customers.Of course, Scotty & Shawn are primo bartenders, BUT they didn’t have any Tanqueray Gin?! ??♀️“
“Moved to a new location and just recently celebrated ? their 1 year anniversary, this nice watering hole is popular among locals. I happened to visit from a hour south of Rockledge and had a great time‼️ Cold beer, fresh cigars and a nice selection of music ? made an amazing night. No need to signal the bartender for a refill, she was right on it‼️??????“
“Its not the ppl at the bar as much as it is the bartenders! The owner has done a magnificent job of having the most social and kind girls at the bar! I came in today with my mom and all the ppl were kind and sweet! My mom is not a bar woman..so it made me feel good that she felt welcomed.. Good Vibes..love love“
“I rarely post reviews, but I was wowed by this place! Both the food and especially the service was spectacular. I always come to pier restaurants with low expectations, but this place is awesome. We had a party of 8 and ordered a variety of food, and it was all very good, especially the sushi, sashimi, nigri, and rolls. Gina was outstanding as a keeper at a busy bar. We'll be back for sure“
“I haven't visited the place in years but I was road tripping so why not. The food was very good and the staff were friendly. Interesting mix of locals and tourists add to the vibe. As I was leaving, in the parking lot, I received a thank you from a staff member who offered me a hit off a joint, I accepted and I was on my way. I will definitely be back...good time.“
“The rec 225 was a pretty chill place it had a small little arcade a pretty decent sized dance floor and no one bothered anyone and it looked like everyone was having a decent time. There was this one table full of younger adults with all of their Snapchat open making videos in the middle of the floor it was quite amusing.Anyway I rode their with a buddy as we were bar hopping and being the sober ones we sat back people watched and had a good time. It's a good place to go if you're just looking to hang out and get out of the house.Vegetarian options: Just the salt and pepper ?️ fries ?“
“1st time there and it was super rekaxing. Jarvis was so very nice. I would like to see service from the snack bar to the tiki bar since they are just across the street. Think they would make money for both places. Saw many people come that wanted food but they directed you to the snack bar.“
