Second time coming here the curry goat is amazing very good portion size too. But both times coming I'm always charged a different price from what the menu says menu says 12.99 for a small curry goat was charged 38.50 today for two small meals. The time before was charged 48 for a small and a large. They never offer a receipt and customer service is not the best. Food is amazing though.

Nice lil spot. The food is good. The young lady that served me wasn't friendly at all. She was very selective with her efforts in providing customer service. ‍

Finally! It's about time they opened a decent hole in a wall place in the neighborhood. I had to try both oxtail and curry chicken. Did not disappoint, hit the spot. The service was a little slow but it's Caribbean speed . I didn't mind because their food was off the chain. I would definitely come back whenever I'm craving for Jamaican food.

This has the be worst fried chicken I've ever had from a Jamaican restaurant. No seasoning and just dry dry and the girl behind the counter should at least be a bit more pleasant, so serious with no likkle personality.

Goat curry was delicious, tender, juicy and spicy! Rice and beans, plantain, vegetables it was a huge portion with lots of yummy sauce. Thank-you for a great dinner in Pembroke Pines.

Management should look at hiring a crew that knows show to smile and greet customers. Attitudes suck and service has gradually decreased since my time going here and I’ve been going here since the doors opened. Employees act as if you’re inconveniencing and annoying them when you come in to buy food. Once you see this, explain to your employee’s that the people who come in to support the store are the same people who generate the revenue that pays their wages. Take out the trash.

I don't know who is crazy enough to complain about this place.... The food is always fresh and is a great value for the quality and portion. Honestly, you don't need a lunch special to appreciate the value. The jerk chicken is all breast and juicy and charred and amazing and the rice and peas and slaw are always on point. I grew up eating Jamaican food and I know the real deal when I get it. I wouldn't expect rushed American service in a chill neighborhood style joint like this. Come in and sit down, and enjoy a bite of hot food that tastes like someone's grandma is back there cooking. Absolutely zero complaints and I used to eat here 3x a week when my daughter was going to Pre-K close by. Keep cooking!

Good food, pleasant service (unusual for a Jamaican restaurant). Excellent ox-tail and stew peas

I was at work starving and I say let me stop by to get a lunch special, lunch special stops at 2 o’clock, I got there 10 minutes before 2. I ordered my food and in the middle of serving my food the server stop to answer the phone, instead of telling whoever she was talking to to hold on and complete my order, she continued chatting. By the time she got off the phone and finished my order and was ready to pay she’s going to tell me it’s after 2 and lunch special is finished. I was sooooooo pissed. I like to support my fellow JAMAICANS doing business but will never go back to hot off di grill.

Feb 9,2024, I went back and purchased my Red Peas soup as usual, and it was indeed delicious ? tasted so great I had to get 2. One never enough. So far, the best in Pembroke Pines.

Right in my neighborhood, with lots of large parking spaces right outside since it's at the far end of the Sedano's building. Large portion for my half chicken jerk with soft dense sandwich bread for free (two slices), and extra containers of their sweet, HOT, molasses and clove sauce which go great with both meat and rice. My wife and I make two meals of it at home with our own sides.Pickup was to be ready in 30-40 minutes, though at a 40 minute arrival, it was awkwardly hard to get a clear indication of why I was waiting, though ten minutes later out it came from the kitchen and I was on my way.I've had their other dishes in months past, and have never been disappointed, only a bit perhaps in the hugely inflating prices. But again, amounts are large and a good value when that's considered. All said, I definitely recommend this place,
