I would like to know where they are now, I invited a friend to eat at the best restaurant in Pembroke Pines and it was closed, even without the notice. Please, if you are going to open somewhere else, let me know the address.Thank you,

IshilimaI visited during happy hours and ordered- Ordered the Doki Doki with Maduro added to it as a special addition. The chili soy paper is a great light kick, the salmon and goat cheese and truffle with the maduro combination is divine especially with the avocado.- If you’re a fan of a slight kick of spice and a savory sweet flavor that complements the truffles and goat cheese I highly recommend trying the Doki Doki how I ordered it.Half roll GuavaThe Gauva is so delicious it’s such a delightful flavor to compliment a shrimp tempura roll and truly hone in on a Latin cuisine food staple with the guava and the MaduraBoth rolls were served elegantly and on such aesthetically pleasing plates and the plating of the maki was impeccable and the seafood quality was superb. I will definitely return to this establishment and I would recommend this establishment 10/10 from the tea lateens and fun animal decor and friendly servers, I’m excited to return again for another amazing experience.

Chef Wendell is masterful and creative in the kitchen, Cynthia has taught us about wine, and this entire team delivers so much joy and outstanding meals. Must do the wine tastings, try all of the specials, and order everything on the menu!?? cheers y'all.

A must try Japanese Peruvian Fusion restaurant. Everything we ordered taste really good. The place is small but the food is big for a good appetite. The prices are reasonable. Just a little waiting for the orders to come but it is worth it. I am giving this a 5 stars because of foods. A highly recommend this place to try. I am surely going to return.

Great vegan choices and fantastic desserts. Good sake And environment. Service was a bit slow but quality makes up for it.

It's been a minute since I've eaten at Ishilima. It doesn't matter how long it's been, the food never disappoints. This time I ordered fish croquettes, guava sushi roll and dragon roll with ceviche on top. Our dessert was fried Oreos. Check out these awesome pics I took for you. Stop by and try these dishes you'll be delighted. The ambience is so cute, and the staff along with the owners are always very kind, polite and sweet.

So it’s a Peruvian Japanese fusion place which is playing Colombian music, So ambiance was a bit off. Decoratively looked fine Other wise. Had a lot of oriental stuff. With a few out of place decorations but it’s fine. Server was nice seeing as she was the only one there can’t complain too much about the service. But they did serve a child chicken and fries with out ketchup. Had to ask three times for them to bring it and when they did they filled the cup half way so the chicken could not even reach the ketchup. Had to ask for a second one. Food was ok, there was six of us. My lion sushi was good great fusion sushi one of the best I have had to be honest, but small for $19. But the other food was ok the traditional ceviche was decent flavor was there. Decent for $14 just needed some more additives In there. However Wasn’t a fan of the sweet potato purée. It looks nice but the flavor was lacking. Chicha morada Wasn’t as sweet as you would normally expect. Didn’t taste bad but tasted more like watered down sorrel to me. Mixed green salad, $7 Looked nice but flavor wasn’t there. Been wanting to try this place for a while. But did expect better. Friend got the hamachi, For $14. I don’t think it could of filled a small child. Flavor was there just small the other dishes the guava roll too sweet and Nikkei. Ceviche Flavor lack luster. It was just underwhelming for the price. I think it was a bit over priced and to charge those prices. It should be something that matches. That experience alone would of given a 3 star from my book. Only gave it a 2 since never been a fan of a place putting automatic gratuity. And 20% in parties of five or more is crazy. It’s like one of the higher tipper ranges and five is barely even considered a large party. But one was a child and three out the five adults left hungry. One didnt want the ceviche anymore since the flavor was just off and Was forcing it down. Other the entree so small. And the other guava was too sweet to eat the full thing. Felt embarrassed taken out people to try a fusion place for the first time and so many people leaving unsatisfied. And paying about $200 with the tip. It was just crazy to me. And a bit underwhelming. I am not here to bash the restaurant I just love food and feel the price should match what you pay for. I hope they take it as a way to improve. I will pay a lot for great food. But to pay a lot and have so much dissatisfaction, just a shame. But like I said to me the lion roll best thing I had there and just needed to be slightly larger to get it to that point of being worth $20. You can go to buffets for that price. Honestly with All the reviews Majority either agree with me about the price and the size or rave about the taste. So idk if I will ever go back. But I do know it won’t be my first choice. Unless I was already close by it. This place does have potential it just has to either lower its prices or make it worth the price. By size and or flavor.Update :Did hear back from owner. A few days later. I understood their reasoning. When it comes to food cost and overhead. When it comes to the pricing. But it want even the price that was the issue just if the food quality matched the price. Did try four things and two were good. And for those two and the reply from the owner I will consider going sometime in the future.Thank you for reaching back out owner I hope the next visits. Will be able to earn more stars

Never been here but it is really a hidden gem! My girlfriend was recommended by this restaurant by a friend. This might be my new favorite spot.Super good food, i’ve never had or seen a twist on some of the menu items like the s’mores dessert or the guava roll. My girlfriend & i ordered 3 rolls and all 3 rolls were delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We of course had a bunch of questions and they were happy to assist us with any questions needed. We called ahead for a table and we were seated right away. Our glasses of water were always filled & i didn’t even have to ask for a refill which i loved because the young gentleman was very attentive. This restaurant definitely a vibe, music is good & very well decorated. It reminds be of a downtown restaurant but with better quality food.In other words, I am coming back to try more items! I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a new place in pembroke pines.

Ishilima is a unique Peruvian/Japanese fusion spot I have driven by for a couple years now. I recently decided to stop in on a date night, and I am so glad I did! We came in a Thursday night, which also happens to be the night they offer a wine tasting featuring wines from all over the world. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, an in-house sommelier, who gave some excellent dining recommendations while pouring each of the four wines included in the tasting. She provided a detailed breakdown of both the region and winery where each of the wines originated. As an appetizer, we ordered a special menu item, the Jerk Pork Roll. The roll contained Chopped Pork, fried, and topped with a mayonnaise based drizzle and ceviche style thinly sliced/marinated onions. The pork was juicy, the roll was crunchy, and the acidity of the lime marinated onions made for a start to the meal. You could really turn the Peruvian influence in the roll. As our entrees, we ordered the Ishigotto Roll and the Kill Bill Roll. These were two incredible rolls, each very unique both in taste and presentation. The Ishigotto is a shrimp tempura roll with kani, banana, and avocado. The star of this roll are the peanuts and truffle honey drizzled on top. The Kill Bill was filled with salmon, shrimp tempura, kani, avocado, and goat cheese. Truffle aioli and ponzu were drizzled on top. The thing that really sets Ishilima apart from other sushi style restaurants is the uniqueness and freshness of the rolls. I could taste each of the individual ingredients of these rolls, while still getting the subtle flavor profile of the truffle. This is a cute little date spot I highly recommend for anyone. The staff was nice, very personal, and it's clear that the owners have created this restaurant out of a labor of love. On a side note, I saw they do sushi and sake classes that look like another great date opportunity.

A friend recommended this spot. It's located in the shopping center where the Westfork Regal movie theater is at, which has a ton of other things to eat/do. The restaurant is nicely decorated, great for a casual lunch/dinner. Our waitress was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Answered all of our questions, and gave us info about their specials and rotating menu. We ordered gyozas but they were out, so our waitress suggested the shrimp shumai. It was a little too fishy for my taste, but my boyfriend enjoyed them. The sangria was perfect! Great balance of sweetness and a bit of tartness from the wine. We also ordered the guava and red dragon rolls. The guava kinda threw off the taste of the roll a bit, I think it had a little bit too much- but we asked for extra spicy mayo on the side and that helped balance the dish out a bit more. The red dragon roll was pretty good, I just wish the ceviche was maybe on the side as it made the roll a bit soggy. Overall, we had a good experience here. The food was ok, definitely want to come back, but we would probably try different rolls.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon while running errands, very cozy little restaurant, the host promptly told us we can sit at any available table. We ordered two roles which were very good, it did take some time to come out, but figured since it is sushi, there is a bit of a wait. I'd definitely return based on food quality!

Not a bad concept at all. I definitely want to give this place another try since we ordered food to go. So my opinion is purely on the food we got and not the atmosphere. We ordered the Chifa Chicken Wings, the Dragon Roll and the Steak Frites, all of which I would order again. I was impressed with the quality for the fact that it was ordered to go. The wings had a great blend of sweet and spicy. The dragon roll was delicious. Again, I'm not much of a steak person, but this was very nice. The fusion of parmesan and chimichurri was very tasty.
