Came here with my husband and son for a lunch date right before noon. Heard good things about this place and wanted to try it out. Let's just say I won't be coming back. The place was empty with only two other patrons there when we got there. We were seated within a minute of walking in and given a menu. We ordered some akra for appetizers, which was burnt with the exception of one. I ordered the kabrit (fried goat) and my husband ordered the seafood legume and we got a side of fries for my son. Food came out within seconds after putting in our order. The fried goat was mixed with beef chunks ? and the prion size was small. So I got a handful of fried goat mixed with beef chucks for $25 and the seafood legume didn't even taste good and I think that was $30. We both ordered white rice but the server came out with one white rice and one rice and beans. My husband kept it but it wasn't good. The white rice with the sos pwa (bean sauce) tasted better. We boxed most of it and eventually just threw it out because it started to smell after leaving the restaurant. I honestly should've just went to a regular haitian take-out restaurant that I know would deliver delicious haitian food. I honestly don't recommend.

The food is good! The servers are nice. But man.. this place desperately needs a facelift. The chairs are uncomfortable with dirty cushions. Sometimes it smells like dirty water as you enter. And the music is waaaay too loud. I shouldn’t have to scream into waiter’s ear to give my order or talk to my date.

This place use to be too notch about a year ago, but my goat wasnt fried well done as both as fried goat & pork was full a bones. I received a plate with more bones than meat. Seafood legume was also full of vegetables & I believe 5 pieces of meat, 2 thin crab legs & 3 pieces of conch, No Shrimp. The flavor of the rice was different, not in a good way, but the portions were good, tostones were great. The legume & cabbage spilled in the bag because containers werent closed property. I use to love this place for 8 yrs & would take out because customer service never been good but unfortunately the food is terrible now & I wont be going back.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!The entire experience was beyond amazing from the door to our table top seating. Everyone was so friendly, even the owner came around to every guest to make sure that the experience in her establishment was on point. The food was super amazing, definitely a lot of bang for your buck! The live band had everyone feeling the music and the atmosphere was enlightening that wee didn’t want to leave. It felt like a bonus to me that the bands lead singer, Mark, came to our table, introduced himself to me and my wife and held a great conversation with us before he had to get back on stage. This was our first time there and it surely will not be our last. I think we done found our Sunday night vibe spot!❤️❤️❤️??????

I met my friend there and we sat and talked and talked and enjoyed each other's company. We both ordered Turkey. I ordered the one in the sauce, and we had peas and rice or rice and peas, whichever way you say it. And We simply enjoyed ourselves. The place does a lot and I mean a lot of take out business. Although our server could have been a little more attentive, we have patience, and we are not always rushing to go nowhere. Our server was most pleasant.I'm glad we came. Will return.
