Ordered lunch for our family 7 plates and received a plate of rice with little meat and mostly bones. No gravy as requested and chicken mixed with my pork. Disappointed

12/29/21 When I walked in, the employee behind the counter just sat in the chair and stared at me. Had to ask her could I order. When trying to order she couldn’t here me because of the headphones in her ear. That couple with how stuffy and dirty it was in there, I just left. Horrible customer service. There’s better places close by

I wanted callaloo and saltfish so bad. Macca Tree nor Dutch Pot had boiled bananas to go with it. Called this restaurant and asked if they had it all. Answer was yes. Thank the Lord. I took a chance considering I’d never been, never heard of it, and their rating isn’t the highest. So glad I did. I got a regular plate. Perfect size. I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. There was no difference in taste from their callaloo and Dutch Pot’s. Tasted good and $8.54 is damn good price. I stay in Opa Locka so I probably won’t come as often as I’d like but I would definitely return. I don’t recall seeing a menu so I’m not sure what all they offer. I recommend so far

If I could give no stars I would. Just like how I walked in and got no greeting. I walked into a restaurant with nobody up front while the cook fixed an order in the back for 10 minutes. When he finally came to the front he said hold on and walked back to the kitchen on his little red cell phone and the shop phone in the other hand. The uber eats lady was there annoyed because he had no food available but yet online everything seemed to be available on the menu. The uber eats lady walked out and that should of been my sign to leave. 15 minute later he comes and ask where the lady is and i ask if there’s oxtails and he tells me yes but let him finish the uber order. He runs out of the store to find the lady but she is long gone. After 30 minutes he says sorry no oxtail. I say why didn’t you tell me that 30 minutes ago and he says sorry I thought there was some but it’s just sweet potato in the gravy. What a waste of time. Who puts sweet potato in oxtail anyway? Instead I ask for curry goat and there’s none so I say what do you have and he says brown stew chicken so I say I’ll take it. He goes over to the pot of rice that had no cover from I walked There until till I walked out. He put the brownstew chicken and the rice in the microwave and nuked the food then came to the front and checked me out. I paid walked out and went home just to end up throwing away because it wasn’t palatable. I will never return to this restaurant in the corner again. Terrible service. Terrible food. Just goes to show anyone can literally open a restaurant. You and island in the pines must have the same owner. You both need to close down because I feel it’s disgraceful. You need to do better. Health code violations all day for you guys.

Best Island food I have ever had - ordered j*** chicken and shrimp curry - the salad / cabbage was a surprising hit! Pineapple cake tasted great and not over sweetened. Will be back!

I was on my way to work. I decided to stop and get breakfast from there. Went in, was not greeted. I hear her say something. I could not hear her. I just waited. Until I stayed “hello”. She looked at me. Never moved from in front her stove in a harsh tone. “ I said I don’t have any breakfast”. Really. Is that what you call service. In this hard time we are living in. If someone wants to spend money in your black business. You should really be appreciative. Never again. Miss Lady B restaurant
