Wonderful italian food so glad you are back! The home made minestrone was even better than Joe's! Wings were very tasty as was the pizza. Looking forward to many more visits!

I love this place. The owner has done a great remodel job & I was sooo happy they still offer my favorite Italian dishes. I still go there two - three times a month. If you've never tried this place, put it on your to do list. Best Italian in the Pines.

The restaurant is cosy and a very nice place to go for a quiet dinner. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here tonight and it was fantastic. Service was very good and the food was excellent. More than enough food and some for tomorrow. Food was piping hot, not like other restaurants that we have been to that put your food under a heat lamp.

I love this place. They have the best sauteed spinach in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

They moved. Pizza was ok. Nothing like NY pizza.

Mario's Pizza & Restaurant was one our favorite hidden gems in Pembroke Pines. We frequented the restaurant at least two times a week! Their dishes were authentic Italian and had some of the best flavors I had ever tasted. Their baked ziti was baked to perfection and included a generous topping of cheese, making this all the more delicious! Some other favorites included the Chicken Francese, penne a la vodka and the chicken Alfredo! Their pizza was equally as delicious! It was similar to your New York style pizza -- full of flavor. This restaurant has closed its pizza restaurant and the owner has now changed this to a Salvadorian restaurant. However, he has kept an Italian menu for his regular customers who still wish to enjoy the delicious Italian fare! Just ask the server for their Italian menu. While there is no pizza, you'll find some of the favorites mentioned above!

Very good pizza at a reasonable price. Great customer service along with fast delivery.

Chicken parm was bland. Pretty sure it was frozen patty. Didn't get rolls like the other table. Pizza and fries were ok.

I found this place because it was close to home and I wanted to try something other than Olive Garden. It's a small "hole-in-the-wall" and all I've had is the lasagna. It's good, not crammed with too much ricotta and just the right amount of meat. It actually tastes homemade. Decent price, too. I would give it 5 stars but the side salad leaves a lot to be desired. It's still my go-to for take out.

Couldn't face turkey again on Saturday evening Nov 24 so ordered the lasagna to go. It just was not up to it's normal standard. Something was different, either it was old, or a change in the sauce. Had this been the first time I ordered it I would never order it again. What happened Saturday???
