Edited-Made it back for breakfast a week ago. The food was good.I arrived 20 minutes before closing to order a sandwich to go. I was turned away and told they were closed. I understand people want to go home, but incidents like this push people to a chain restaurant instead of supporting a local business.

Food is outstanding. I had an omelette soft cooked with pastrami swiss cheese and mushrooms and it was loaded with everything! We went on a Tuesday morning, it was fairly busy but I have to say the service was not attentive at all. We waited 5 minutes at the table for waitress to take drink orders and after putting our food down she never came back except to drop off the check. Other waitresses seem to be attentive to their tables. Was an inconvenience but would not stop me from going back. It's expensive but the food is really good.

I've been to Mayors 3 times, and it has not disappointed. It's a small mom and pop plan, , that you can tell has their returning loyal customers which is a great sign. The times I have gone I've had is their veggie omelet and the portion is great! I will definitely keep retuning, as I hear from other customers and my friend that recommended the Place that their menu items are all just as good. By the way rhetorical service is prompt which is great for me since I go with my 1 year old. Must visit.

I love a good mom & pop spot! The hustle and bustle, familiarity of the regulars and boy oh boy was my bagel delicious!! Good service and quick. They also have a nice breakfast menu!

I used to be a huge fan but the service is SO variable....one waitress is usually rather nasty every time ....she's not having a bad day unless every day is a bad day.... that it is literally unpleasant to go to come here....food and prices are pretty good ....however

This seems to be a popular place, but it just didn't do it for me. The prices are very high for what you get. I ordered the lox bagel, and the salmon had a strong fishy smell and taste. It was also incredibly salty. I personally wouldn't go back. Not sure how this place has such high ratings.

One of my favorites of all time. Been going there for many years. When I loved in the neighborhood, every Sunday morning I was in line early for fresh bagels and cream cheese. To this day, it doesn't disappoint. Whenever I get to Pembroke Pines, one of my first stops is Mayor's. Should be yours also.

The atmosphere is nice, everyone is very welcoming especially the Mayor. The food comes out fast but it's hot and fresh. We really enjoy it

Very disappointing breakfast. I ordered the French toast. It tasted like dried out bread. The secret to good French toast is to soak the bread ( preferably challah or brioche) in the egg mixture so that it is soaked all the way through. The French toast at Mayor’s was totally dry in the center and tasted stale…I couldn’t finish my order, which never happensI went in hungry and left hungry

Cozy Vibes, Tasty Bites, But a Bit CrampedMayor's Cafe packs a punch in flavor, with a smiley waitress that adds a nice touch. We dropped in on a weekday and got seated right away, which was a relief. The Philly Cheesesteak and burger were delicious—no complaints on taste. However, the cozy atmosphere comes with a downside—the place is small. It felt a tad cramped. If you don't mind rubbing elbows with your neighbors, the food is worth the squeeze.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is pretty tight seating, might be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair around unless seated at the very front.
