The customer service was great from the time I placed my order over the phone, until I picked up my food. I got a fried snapper with rice and peas with brown stew gravy. It cost about $20ish which isn't bad for this area. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. It was flavorful and seasoned well. This was my first time trying this spot, but definitely will not be my last. Regarding masks- they do require one, but if you don't have one, or forgot yours they will offer you one.

I placed a large and difficult order with Mel to cater to my finicky/dysfunctional/ungrateful family members. She was speedy, friendly and professional. Mel got our order absolutely perfect and was even kind enough to bring it to our table and then organized everything for us. I was blown away by her initiative and remarkable service. The food was delicious and abundant. However, it all started with Mel and I am very thankful for that.

Hands down the best Jamaican food I've had and the 10 years that I've lived in Florida. Extremely fresh and clean. Food. Does not taste old. Everything tastes freshly made. I had the stew chicken with rice and peas and fried cabbage. My husband had a curry chicken and it was divine. It's definitely will come back here for breakfast.

Good food and service. I grabbed a late lunch right before they closed. They actually waited for me, and the j*** chicken meal was extremely good. Seasoning and the sauce both worked like magic.

I could only post a picture of my full belly because the food is ALL GONE ? it was SO good!. The portion was abundant. They gave us a lot of meat, contrary to other places that will just stuff your plate with rice and give you two tiny little pieces of meat ?‍?! the curry goat I just had was veeeery tasty. I tried some of my husband j*** chicken and it was very nice too! I loved the food. Definitely recommend and will definitely order here again!

This eatery is located behind the Kindercare between the wings place and Medical place. I happened to come across it while walking (and waiting for my car services to be completed). I got the small breakfast and sat at the outside table. I had callaloo and saltfish with banana and yams. A bit on the pricey side but it was filling.

Delicious food at a great price . Ackee is the best in town ! Also had the brown stew chicken, oxtail and soup. Never disappoints.

My mom requested oxtails for Mother's Day so I looked online to discover who had the best oxtails in the area and Tropical Twist was one of the restaurants that came up. Although it wasn't as popular as some of the other Jamaican restaurants in the area, the reviews were solid so I decided to give them a try.My mom loved them! They were just the right amount of seasoning. The food was fresh and the portions were good. In fact, I also bought a large oxtail plate for my brother. He enjoyed it so much he rationed it to be able to get three servings. Will definitely be back.

Decided to try the food at this spot after taking some shoes to repair at Adrian Shoemaster and now I’m hooked! Tried the curry chicken on my first visit and still after several visits haven’t made it to try anything past that because their curry is the best hands down I’ve ever had in South FL. I’ve tried many Jamaican restaurants throughout Broward and Dade and none a dem have flavors like Tropical Twist. Plus I like the fact that they sell the small size containers which is perfect for lunch. Their rum cakes are also delicious. This is now my go to Jamaican restaurant, and coming from Weston, I am most excited to get an electric car just to be able to drive here more often to get my curry. Perhaps I’ll eventually try the oxtail or goat which I’m sure is the bomb!

Wow! Just went here today and the food is delicious! The prices are amazing and the staff is really nice! It is truly a hidden gem in Pembroke Pines and they deserve to have more people know about this great mom/pop restaurant. They are also very professional and are wearing masks, which I really appreciate. The food is fresh and made hot to order and they even have fresh daily made in-house juices. Will definitely become a repeat customer! Thanks!
