“We dropped in at 5 pm. They said they did not have any water view tables, because they were reserved. Well we left at 6 after having great meals, 50% of the water view tables were still empty. Suggestion, at least leave a couple of tables for walkins or let the walks in know its for a limited time. I see loss of revenue when people don't show up or leave because of no water view. The food was awesome and service was good.We have a Shrimp and grits, Salmon dinner and a delicious gluten free brownie with vanilla ice cream and dash of rum. We will return and call ahead of time.“
“Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your hats—and maybe your forks—because Peg Leg Pete’s in Pensacola is serving up a storm! Get here early, folks, because Pete’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s the hottest ticket in town. Imagine a place so good, even seagulls are trying to book a table. The food? It’s like a culinary treasure map, and X marks every single plate. Dive into the deep blue of flavor with their seafood, or if you're feeling brave, tackle the Kraken-sized portions of their signature dishes. Spoiler alert: you will need a bigger boat... for the leftovers. And the service? Faster than a pirate spotting a merchant ship! The staff at Pete’s are so friendly, you'll want to include them in your family portraits. So, tie up your ship at Pete's dock. It's more than dinner—it's a foodie adventure that'll leave you more stuffed than a cannon on a frigate. Fire in the hole! ?☠️ ?“
“I wanted to love this place, but it's limiting factor was our experience with the guy at the counter where we sat. Service was fine, but we were in vacation and happy to be alive, and the guy gave vibes that he was politely tolerating us. Could have been an enhancement, but came off kind of snobby.“
“We went here during Super Bowl & Mardi gra parade season. They were super busy but as busy as they were (we waited 1 1/2 hour to eat) it was so worth the wait! The service was good and the food was delicious. My husband and I shared a dozen fried oysters for our appetizer that were a pretty decent size then both of us got a burger with fries. I love that they will cook the burger to whatever temp you prefer (because I like mine on the rare side). The price wasn't bad at all!“
“Celebrated Mother's day early while visiting my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law who are Pensacola locals. RFBF was my grandmother-in-law's pick. She wanted to pick a place with a great atmosphere that had great views of the water. We were a party of 6 and the greeters did an amazing job accommodating some special seating requests. Lauren was our server and she was super attentive, welcoming and friendly. Meals came out quickly and portion size allowed us to all bring home leftovers. I highly recommend the strawberry salad and key lime pie. Drinks were well mixed and the view was beautiful. I especially appreciate he accommodating the greeter and Lauren was.“
“These are the greatest tacos I have ever put in my face hole. I have had 3 total dreams about them in the span of a year. I went when they were closed and was holding back real tears. The guacamole is the best that has ever graced my taste buds.“
“The food was very good. The iced coffee was amazing. We’re here on vacation and came across this spot. Small inside but they move tables quick and food was fast. We will be back again before we leave and will recommend this place to many.“
