Had a disappointing brunch Sunday. We couldn't hear our waiter. He didn't know the menu or if there were brunch specials. Chargrilled oysters were great, but he didn't bring crackers or hot sauce. He didn't check to see if we needed anything. I'm not exaggerating when I say there were zero crawfish in my etoufee. Poboy shrimp were small and there weren't enough. Bread was blah. I barely touched my food. They didn't bring all of our food at same time which was totally fine, but less than two mins later he came and asked if everyone else had already eaten. We literally thought he was joking. We had to explain we had not gotten our food yet. One of the most awkward meals I've ever experienced.

Ordered the "catch of the day" which was Mahi. Ordered two sides that came with it (which were "upgrades") and received three different plates. I asked the server why they didn't just put it on the one plate with the tiny mahi filet? He said kitchen staff just won't do it that way. Then I get the bill and they charged me for full price for my catch of the day with no sides. And both my sides were charged full price.

I got the bbq oysters, they were warm and kinda flavorful. They came with bread, would I say they're the best I've had? No way! I also got the jambalaya pasta, it has this frozen cut up chicken and sausage in it. I could've sworn it also said shrimp but there was none. I asked the server about it and he said it didn't but he returned to tell me that the shrimp was IN the sauce. For dessert I got the New Orleans pecan pie. It taste like something from the freezer section at a Supermarket. Would I return? NOPE!

Food was ok, not outstanding. My shrimp po-boy was dry, bread not appealing. Server JD was wonderful. Handling our large group of 11 with efficiency , and was attentive to our needs. He was a pleasure which is not always found these days.

I ordered the Chilean sea bass. I understand the flavor of this restaurant is Louisiana Creole flavors, but the description of the dish was the fish with a garlic soy over some black rice. It came out like a gumbo. Green peppers overpowering the dish. But my main concern was the freshness of the fish. The fish had a very strong odor and strange taste. I've had sea bass before and I know the fish was not fresh. But why I am giving Felix's 4 stars is because the manager or owner was making rounds checking on customers. He checked in with us and I told him about my concerns with the fish. He was very apologetic and wanted to make things right. He made sure the customers were happy.. I got the shrimp po' boy and it was absolutely delicious!! Yes I would definitely be back!!

We live near New Orleans and have been to the original Felix's many times. This restaurant combines the great food from the original Felix's with the great ambiance and architecture you would expect in a tropical setting. We sat on the balcony overlooking the bay. The food was great and the staff was very courteous. Note: this restaurant is located in the same spot Hemingway's Grill was located.

We really wanted this place to work out, but after several visits, we won't be returning. The service is spotty, at best, and the quality and flavor of the food is subpar. To make it worse, the management doesn't seem to care and may have already given up on the place. There are several better alternatives in the area ... skip this place.

First time here. I ordered the avocado and shrimp salad and it was terrible. My friend ordered one of the waffle specials and it was meh. Certainly not as advertised. Huge disappointment. I would give 1 star but the manager offered to take the salad off my bill.

First time in Pensacola Beach, I heard great things about Felix's so I had to try it out. I'll start by saying our waiter 1/10 do not recommend. Jacob W attitude was subpar, he made it seem like we were an inconvenience. The drinks 1/10, I've had better at a whole in the wall bar. The food ‍ I got the stuffed red fish, I was so exited. The excitement quickly disappeared when I saw the plate, I was presented with a dry disappointing fillet with a table spoon of crab. I took a piece of the corner and salty is an understatement. There was barely people in the restaurant and we had to ask for water and even then we were met with an attitude. I am very respectful of the wait staff but the one we had really tested my patience. The atmosphere was really nice, the view of the water was nice. The best part of restaurants was view. The worst restaurant of my week visit to Pensacola Beach.

Service: subpar sadly this was a hard miss-step: We waited for a long time after our food came out for our silverware. Our kids ended up eating most of their food with their hands to prevent their food from getting cold. My friend ordered the Chilean Bass on a bed pilaf but I was very soupy there was no rice on the plate. Very disappointed I had the scallops and honestly I had a better experience down the street at the waffle house. I strongly do not recommend this place. We had to ask 3 people for silverware, the food and service do not justify the price.

Asked the waitress if they took Google pay. She said, I'm sure. So we ordered. Check came and it wouldn't work. I had to drive back to the hotel to get my credit card. Very inconvenient. The waitress should know what payments are taken.
