We order almost weekly! It's priced great and taste great. The only thing is I cannot eat inside. The smoke inside from cooking makes my eyes burn and water. But that is no deterrent for us! We don't mind taking it home.

Very boring place to eat, bathroom was disgusting to say the least. If you come to eat here you will definitely need some friends to come with you if you don’t want to be bored out of your mind. Ordered crab rangoon’s they had little to no crab meat in them, also ordered a lemonade and the man gave me a zero sugar one. He also was very akward while taking my order, entire place had no decoration or anything on any wall.

I always say bad sushi is better than no sushi, but not in this case. I think Walmart employees would make better sushi. Cheap place that charges as much as quality places in

Our fave new Poke bowl! This place has amazing cooked shrimps for the Poke Bowls. They are super fresh, very large & they must cook them in seasonings b4 they peel them bc they are very tasty indeed. I came back two days in a row bc I couldn't believe how good they were. Neither could hubby bc he tried to eat all me poke bowl! Hubby had to have his own bowl this time. Haha. The bowls are beautifully presented, with super fresh ingredients. We asked for heavy on the avocado & Masago, our request was granted & they delivered. The extra avocado & Masago made them perfection. We got the same two custom bowls & again, they were so amazing. I'm not sure what kind of soba nood they use, but they are very good quality & they make them fresh to order! Our bowls were still warm when we gobbled them up simultaneously, like wild savage hangry pirates. Arrrr! lol There is a small dining area inside with a reach in self serve drink cooler if you prefer to dine in. However, it's mostly takeout. Menu is posted online. You can use Grub hub, door dash or just call & place your order for pickup. Closed on Sunday's! Added to my hometown favorites list. Queen of Pirate'cola approved.

There have been multiple times where I have gone to Akari during their restaurant hours and no one was there or the store was closed. One time there was a message on the door stating they'd be back at a certain time which was within a few minutes so I waited and waited and it was nearly 30 minutes after the specified time before someone showed up & then I had to wait another 30 minutes until the food was ready.Today(a Tuesday) I showed up but they were closed as well. The sign on the door said they would be open at 11:00 but they were still closed at 2:00 when I arrived. When they are open like they are supposed to be, their food is really good but I don't have time to drive out of my way to find the restaurant closed and end up getting stuck trying to find somewhere else nearby to get food.I've given them a lot of chances but they just aren't reliable.

The employees were nice and helpful, but I didn't enjoy any of the food. I ordered two rolls of sushi, crab rangoons, and a lemonade. The lemonade was a zero-sugar one, which I didn't order. The rangoons had a very limited amount of crab in them and little flavor. Both sushi rolls had wet rice on the outside and just didn't have a pleasing taste overall.

Have had their bowls in the past. This time it was very disappointing. The tuna appeared to have been frozen . It was discolored and nasty. I will not be trying them again. When you pay for sushi grade you expect sushi grade .

The tuna in the poke bowl was fishy and not tasty. I did not finish this bowl.

Sub par at best. No sauces for dumplings, what's that about? Pan seared dumplings were burnt and no flavor. (Sauce probably could've helped). Tuna tasted odd. Tasted too weird to eat. Waste of money. Would not recommend.

I ordered the spicy tuna roll and salmon nigiri and both were excellent and prepared faster than expected. Thank you.

This was one of the worst, if not the worst, dining experiences I’ve ever had. I waited 53 minutes in the restaurant for my two poke bowls and one order of clearly air fried spring rolls. There were two people that ordered ahead of me, so I expected to wait 20 minutes or so. It was clear that there was one employee and he had no sense of urgency. He seemed to be doing his best, but 53 minutes is a long time to wait for takeout poke. I got home and couldn’t eat it. I took two bites of the fish and the toppings over the sushi rice and it was all awful. Nothing tasted fresh and the fish was far too “fishy.” I am so disappointed at this. I made a point to come closer to home to support a small business in stead of picking one up at a larger place in town. I hope this was just a bad night.
