This used to be Shark Fin where you could order what you want off a set menu. Now they have adopted the all you can eat approach. Food is subpar. I ordered calamari. Received 6 circles. Taste was just okay. Ordered noodles with chicken. Spaghetti with 6 pieces of chicken. I wont be back. Waiter said he understood my dissatisfaction. Stated he only had 2 tables the previous day. Not a good menu or tasty food. Sorry. Ambiance was quiet - 1 other customer. Decor wasn't changed from previous owner. Good luck BBS.

I don't even know where to begin. Walked in at 7:15. Just two of us, took an hour and a half for one sushi roll. Maybe 8 tables in the entire restaurant. Our server got tables mixed up so every thing that came to our table was not what we ordered but what another table had ordered. We had no napkins, took 20 minutes to ask for them because god knows where our server was. This place was an absolute cluster fuck. Nobody in that place had a clue as to what they were doing. Will not return, you're just better off going to sushi masa or wako sushi.

We went because we saw it was a new sushi place in Pensacola, unfortunately the Sushi was terrible. They were busy and we saw a lot of people got the boil with the shrimp, crawfish and corn. But for us it was a fail.

I ordered spring rolls and chicken noodles. I specifically asked what kind of noodles were they when ordering. I was told lo.mein. I got a.dish of angel hair pasta that tasted as if it had sat in the water too long. It had no flavor though it was the color of lo.mein. It was a scavenger hunt to find the chicken and vegetables in it. Most disappointing meal. I was comped for it but will not make a return visit.

Everything was bland. I did the all you can eat with my fiancée and we spent around 80-90 dollars after tip. I started with gyoza and it tasted worse than the frozen pot stickers you can buy at Walmart. I then ordered some sushi, the tomago was actually pretty good but that was the only thing I enjoyed from the entire visit. the two different rolls i ordered which I cannot recall at the moment were extremely bland and tasteless. The texture of all of them were so mushy as well, it just was not good. Next the fried rice and teriyaki chicken. The fried rice was plain. It seemed as if someone just cooked the rice but added no seasoning. The chicken in this rice was extremely bland and I had to eat around that. The teriyaki chicken was so over cooked that it was like eating rubber. I liked that it came with vegetables already, as most all you can eat places you have to order a chicken and vegetable teriyaki to get this, but the vegetables were all very undercooked and a little too hard. I stopped eating after not finishing most of this. My fiancée got their seafood boil and got crab and shrimp. She said that the shrimp was pretty good but the crab was tiny and really hard to get any meat out of. The meat that she was able to get out of it was very crumbly making it difficult to eat.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi menu they offered. Our server was friendly and very helpful, explained everything we asked about clearly and effectively.

This place looks AMAZING outside and inside. Seeing the ad nobori (幟) I had really high hopes. The food is great for it's price and the staff is super friendly. Would love to eat in one day for their AYCE, but today I did takeout. The menu is very slim, but the selection is great as it doesn't overwhelm you like other sushi and izakaya style restaurants do. The Shrimp Fried Rice is very much on the lighter side, but I'm guessing it's mainly because my seasoning wasn't distributed well as I got a good bite of saltiness which is why I took a star. The sushi is great too. I love a really good nigiri, and was surprised to see Inari sushi was on the menu. This place has very high potential!

Great Food Great service. I like the fact you order off a menu as much as you want. Outstanding Shrimp, in the soup. Everything was outstanding.

Hubs and I were excited about trying this new place. We did the all you can eat. We liked the option of the seafood boil as well as sushi and entree options. Overall. We thought the food was pretty good. Only thing we didn't like was the crawfish. It was bland and definitely could tell it wasn't fresh. However, the shrimp In the seafood boil was really flavorful! The snow crab legs were big and good as well. We also got different sushis, shumai and dumplings. We enjoyed all of it. Next time I will try some of the entree items. Portions were huge, so no room for that this time. The service was great. Everything came out quickly. Our waitress was vey nice and checked on us often.

I came to the restaurant tonight and super excited about trying a new sushi place. I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome. The design of the place was very cute. So I am giving it two stars because the sushi was okay, the taste wasn't the greatest and had some uncooked rice in some bites. And the blue crabs were over cooked the meat was little to mushy. My spouse had the teriyaki chicken and said it was pretty good. Our friend got some wine and there was hardly that much in there and the prices on the all you can eat was a little over priced. I can got to another sushi place and get it little cheaper and better quality sushi. Overall I was disappointed but I may give it another try for the hibachi side of it and not the sushi side.

Went to Sushi Bang Bang tonight to try it out after their grand opening. Absolutely amazing! We ordered crawfish and shrimp in both Cajun and garlic butter. The boils we're very good and flavorful. Our server Evan was a rockstar and we greatly appreciated his recommendations! One thing to remember is that this place is brand new, so be patient and kind. Every new restaurant has kinks to work out and this place is doing a great job already. The bus boy also was extremely tentative and cleared tables as soon as anyone left and prepared it for the next guest! 10/10 I definitely recommend Sushi Bang Bang!
