I love this place. I usually drop in to pickup a quick plate to go and it’s always so tasty! Very friendly staff and efficient even when busy. I’ve also ordered via DoorDash and was pleased with that experience as well. Don’t forget about the dessert. So good!!

I’ve been looking for a food “meat & 3” soul food type spot. My bro reminded that Englewood had a restaurant at the church. I went and the people were super pleasant and helpful. And the food was delicious. Best soul food spot I’ve had in Pensacola. I got the baked chicken, collard greens, candied yams, and corn bread. Then, I got the red velvet cheesecake…? had to be made by an angel… it was heavenly! Go check it out! I do warn you… you’re going to need a nap afterwards. ?

The good Lord sure does bless this home of God and his children with food so good I could come everyday of the week!!It is pricey but worth it, you can't get food like this anywhere else in Pensacola Florida!

Burnt chicken fried in weeks old grease! Rice hard and crunchy! Dressing taste like they dumped the entire can of nutmeg in it! What has happened to the quality of the food here? Just shut it down already!

Provided great customer service today. I called to explain how on the door dash app I didn’t have the option to add an extra wide or even what bread option I wanted and they called my driver to return so they could add my options!! Very friendly and accommodating! Great food always

Food was good, not great. I had a 2 pc fried chicken dinner. The chicken was good the Mac was good. The candied yams were ok. I recommend it and would return.

A top-notch meal if you missing home cooking this is the place to go I mean everything is good the fried chicken the smothered pork chop the candy in the collard greens with or without okra the cornbread the road the desserts the desserts banana pudding pound cake chocolate cake I mean everything like your grandma used to make if you've never been you need to go ASAP

If you're looking for some good, down home, southern food then this is the place for you!! You know it's good when you walk in the door and the line is about 40 deep!! They have fried chicken daily and most of the sides are daily sides. They have different specials on different days. There's oxtails, hamburger steak, smothered pork chops and pig feet! Yes PIG FEET! And they are beyond delicious!! Don't pass this place up, give it a shot and you won't regret it!!
