we didn't eat. People were friendly, we ordered Bushwakers & best we've had so far! The place was amazing, wish we could've spent more time there. Next time we'll uber?

Such over-priced mediocre food. Added the chicken to my entree and it was all gristle.

The Flora-Bama Old River Grill is a gem nestled along the Gulf Coast, offering an unparalleled dining experience. The fresh raw oysters are a standout, delivering a taste of the sea with each bite, perfectly complemented by the crisp and refreshing 30A Blonde Ale. Together, they create a harmonious symphony of flavors that tantalize the taste buds and leave a lasting impression. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or a craft beer enthusiast, this culinary destination promises satisfaction with every visit.

We had a dozen raw and the tuna spread. The scene of the river was cool. Pelicans stand on top of poles waiting for the fisherman to reward their patience.

Gretchen took amazing care of us, helping my wife cope with an egg allergy. The Oysters McClellan were terrific, and the grilled shrimp was perfectly spiced. We will come back!

We knew going in this was a tourist trap...but it was still a "have to go once while in the area" type place. The shrimp and grits were actually amazing! The Gouda grits were fantastic and the cream sauce was flavorful and the reason I gave this 3 stars. The rest of the meal was totally basic, including the "catch of the day" fried fish - grouper. I LOVE grouper and was excited when we found out it was the fried catch for the fish basket. It honestly smells a bit fishy and was a bit slimy. Super underwhelming. The other 2 got burgers and fries and they were okay, considering the source. We got onion rings and fried mozzarella - totally frozen and fried. Nothing handmade or special about them. It also took forever for someone to attend to us (to the point we were about to walk out and go elsewhere). Gwen apologized profusely for the lack of attention, but then quickly fell off the bandwagon and we waited 20+ min for her to return to give us our bill. All in all, glad we got a photo-op at the Florida/Alabama sign, but definitely will not be back.
