I haven't eaten in the restaurant since it burned down but the market is good. A little high priced and the selection is limited at times but it's close to my house so I'll keep going.

I decided to try this place, so I made my way, and then when I pulled up, the place was closed for remodeling or whatever it was closed for.

We loved eating at this restaurant prior to the fire. However, we ate there for the first time since they reopened. The food was terrible. The crab cakes are mostly filler (breading) I could not identify any crab meat. The baked beans tasted like pork ad beans out of a can and the fried okra was under cook. VERY DISAPPOINTED! THE COST WAS INSANE. Meal plus tax (no drink) and a 3% surcharge for using a credit card $24.51. A slice of cake or cup of banana pudding $7.50. Also, fresh shrimp in the market is fresh frozen out of Mobile bay. Do yourself a favor and go to Joe Patti's! SO DISAPPOINTED, will not eat there again!

Don't get excited if you want fancy with a view because this is not it. This is for those who just want some darn good seafood- mostly fried. The portion sizes are plenty. Order and grab a cup and fill your own (no alcohol served here FYI). The gumbo is really good, if you lucky you might get the special crawfish étouffée- wow is that some good stuff. Like I said, this is not fancy dining, but it is darn good food.

Hands down the best seafood I have had. If you are in Cantonment this is a must try spot. The service was above and beyond anything I have had elsewhere. It is a very family oriented spot. Very clean and everything we needed on hand. I will be back very soon.

Great food

Food was delicious. I would like to ask the management to please ask the one employee to change their gloves after handling the boom and dustpan and before handling the napkins, condiments and plastic ware and after wiping her nose. As a health professional this was extremely disturbing to watch and this is not the only occurrence. It's happened every time we have visited and it's always the same person. Thank you.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We've never seemed to make time to try it. We stopped in for lunch today. My wife decided to just go with the seafood gumbo, while I tried the shrimp basket. The gumbo was good, but a little too salty for our liking. The shrimp were large, and not over cooked. The fries were mediocre at best. Overall, we felt the food was good, but over priced for what you get. 6 shrimp for $15 is a little over priced as compared to other places.

Look I don't know how this place is even in business anymore. I ordered the crab cakes. HorribleThe crab cakes where pasty and not chucks of crab. They are like the horrible salmon patties that mom made from canned salmon. Just horrible. Hard hush puppies and could not cut them with the plastic fork. Just very disappointed with this place and meal .

It's ok, very limited menu.Too much church talk at this place. The customers the counter employees the waitresses. closed on Sundays.I go to eat and enjoy my meal, not be preached at. Probably will not return.
