A few of our friends recommended Henny Penny’s to us. I really wanted to try the FriYay Cupcakes, but was hesitant about buying 12 cupcakes at once for just my husband and I. I bought a dozen anyway and decided to try my hand at freezing them. My husband and I tried 2 when they were first delivered. Then, I placed 10 cupcakes in the freezer for 60-90 minutes in the plastic container they came in. I pulled them out of the freezer and carefully individually wrapped each cupcake in plastic wrap. I then placed the wrapped cupcakes in gallon-sized plastic freezer bags (5-6 per bag), squeezing out all the air I could without messing up the frosting before closing each bag. To further protect the cupcakes, I put the sealed bags in glass baking dishes and placed everything back in the freezer. As we are ready to eat them, I pull the amount of cupcakes we want out of the freezer, remove the plastic wrap immediately while they’re still frozen, then let them thaw for a few hours. They are still as delicious as day 1!It’s been 4 days since the cupcakes were delivered and we have 4 cupcakes left in the freezer. Don’t let the thought of buying too much cupcakes stop you from buying them! These cupcakes freeze really well!Also, all four flavors are amazing! I don’t like grapefruit, but the summer grapefruit cupcake is my favorite cupcake! It is a delicious blend of vanilla, buttercream, and citrus! I strongly recommend trying it if you haven’t already.

All I can say is WOW. This place can bake! Stopped in on a whim and purchased a variety of goods (everything brownie, cupcakes, a tart, and a few other items) and WENT BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY FOR MORE. They have $1 cupcakes on Fridays, which is such a treat and there was a large variety to choose from. The everything brownie is absolutely divine, the best I have ever had. Thank you guys for your great work and the passion you have for what you do!

Wow! These were a hit on Mother's Day! The fruit tart was to die for, super light and the fruit on top was so fresh. All the other flavors were amazing also, plus the customer service was fantastic. Great value.
