Excellent customer service from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Came here on my lunch break and definitely will be returning. The curry chicken with red beans and rice was delicious and more than enough for two meals!! I will be going back for more and recommending it to family and friends as well.

The one cook and cashier acts like her job is the worst thing she has ever done. Nasty, Rude, and Argumentative. I've seen her cuss, fuss and rant to a customer because SHE didn't have change for him. She never even asked him if he had a smaller bill, she just took his food away and didn't allow him to buy his food. She even followed him out of the store, cussing and fussing while he was trying to leave. Worst service ever, anywhere. I'll NEVER put myself or my family members through that type of experience again. (Food is normally good though.)

The attitude of the waitress there is atrocious. Nastiest attitude of anywhere that I have ever been in my life and I work around the country. The fish is normally good but the service is horrible. The waitress was at first arguing with the teenage worker as I walked in and she acts like she hates people. I made my order and was about to pay and had a hundred dollar bill. She just stared at me with this nasty look on her face so I said, could you say something? Then she went ranting and raving. All she needed to say was, "do you have anything smaller," of which I did. She then snatched my bag away and said that she wasn't going to serve me. There is a big sign up that says, Review us on Google, so I mentioned that I need to write a review. As I was leaving the store, this woman followed me out of the store, still ranting and raving talking about, I will fight you. She never shut up. As I was driving away, she was still outside, cussing and ranting. Unbelievable. I had heard about her attitude awhile back but I definitely witnessed it first hand on 7/17/23. If you want to have a good day turned into a bad day, Go to Island Fish and Grits in Pensacola Florida.

Very good spot for Jamaican take out. I had the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. Funny enough I ate the cabbage first and couldn’t stop eating it. The oxtail were very tender and tasty. Usually, I don’t eat much of the rice and peas, but it was great too. The owner is a very nice lady. Unfortunately, I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take a picture.
