I never write reviews but i loved this little shop so much i wanted to tell the world. I'm in town visiting, and a friend recommended this place to me. The building is so beautiful I didn't believe it was the right store. Went into the shop fell in love with the atmosphere. The young girl working behind the counter recommended pistachio and I was quick to judge negatively - only to be proven wrong! Highly recommend this for a date spot or little private hangout.

Honestly, it's the best gelato I have ever had. So creamy and delicious, I can't wait to go back and take my kids. The hazelnut crunch and coconut were mouth-watering good. The place was so clean and beautifully decorated, it made the atmosphere so inviting. The wafer cookie on top was an added bonus ?I also can't wait to try their coffee. A gelato shop that reminds me of Europe!? If you love gelato and waffles, this one’s for you!Atmosphere: Located at the Old Sacret Heart Hospital, the gelato shop feels cozy and slightly hidden. You have to go down a few steps upon entering which adds to the cozy feeling.Service: The workers here are quick to serve. Other than gelato, they have other menu items that they provide, so they are good at multitasking!Menu items: I’ve tried their gelato, Belgian waffles, and iced dirty chai. They have unique flavors for their gelato and have waffle or cup options for the base. My favorite part is the small waffles with their logo that they put on top of the dessert! I also love their waffles that they serve which I get with berries on top!Lamonte Gelato truly brings a unique and fun foodie spot to our area. I look forward to coming back for some more!?
