Was our usual Sunday stop for steak.... Place nearly empty, plenty of staff around. They forgot we were there and after 15 minutes we up and left. No drink order, no one ever came back .

Food was excellent! The filet was great, and the salmon was cooked just right! Chocolate cake was amazing! The server was very nice, attentive but not annoying. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

Pretty poor. Took an extremely long time to get our food and mine was cold when I got it. Very disappointing. Ordered the 12 oz. Pat's Riley. Flavor was good, just not hot at all. Didn't want to send it back due to the lengthy wait already. Seemed like normal course of business as our waiter didn't seem to think the wait unusual.

First-timer: my order was incorrect and was told unable to fix it. In addition, the food I received was cold with no flavor. I ordered rib/shrimp combo with a loaded baked potato. I asked for no green onions on my potato, there were green onions.

Worst service I've ever had. Waited forever for appetizers, then only one came and we ordered 3. Waited 1/2 hr for other ones. Salad came right after last appetizer. Then immediately our entrees came. Two out of 4 steaks had to be returned overcooked. Ordered med rare came back well done!. Manager came by table and said "sorry ". Other 2 diners finished their meal and we still didn't have ours. Finally after 35 min. We got ours. No flavor on steaks and one was still overcooked. Manager did NOT compensate anything on our bill. We are both Landry Select customers. Will never go back. This is the second time this has happened

First time here, absolutely last ever. Simply put, it was about bad management. The server we had was crying because basically the staff was short staffed and the management acted frustrated and wasn't attentive anymore. I have too understand that they were human and that was just it. I did pay for my watered down bourbon, which was not the bourbon I ordered but I was just ready to go. I literally was paying for my bourbon when they came out with the food and set it down in the foyer while the other customers were walking past, if I didn't want it after the hour of sitting for my Moms birthday dinner which was ruined by this, then why would I want it after so many people had passed by it while getting colder in the foyer? Oh well...by the way, this review was for 01/15/2021 and just saw that it wasn't finished, that's how scarred I was of this entire disaster that I remember every detail

Made reservations and was taken right away to table, which was nice. This was on a Thursday night. The food was excellent, however they forgot my mash potatoes and forgot my friends broccoli. The waitress did bring it and it was good sized portions. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The steak was absolutely wonderful and cooked perfectly. This is the second time we have been here and will definitely be coming back with guests. Thank you so much!

Very surprised. At first was expecting a more modern or classier interior but it felt very cozy in the end. I was also expecting "chain" restaurant type of food but it was very good. I would rival it to some of the more renowned steak houses out there. You definitely get more value for your money for a great product. The staff were all amazing. From the bartender to the buss boy and everyone in between.

ORDERED VIA: Dine in on 2/3/22 THE SERVICE Our server's name was Tina and she was absolutely AMAZING! She asked us how everything was once we received our beverages and the same when we received our food to ensure it was to our liking. One of the guests in our party had an issue with their food being over cooked to where it was burnt. Tina listened to the concern and addressed it immediately along with various other requests throughout our two hour stay and never once showed signs of aggravation or tiredness. Her energy was high and pleasant each encounter with us. Although the food was okay, Tina made it worth the stay. THE FOOD This visit is actually my second visit to Saltgrass. I usually only come for the range rattlers but this time I decided to also order the queso fresco along with it as an appetizer. The range rattlers are firecracker goodness! The jalapeño definitely has the kick you need for my spice lovers out there. Pair that with the shrimp and cheese that's tucked inside mmmhmm! So good! Unfortunately the queso and fried shrimp was just okay. I like me some flavor and both the queso and shrimp were bland. The queso itself tasted like cheese, no other flavors just that cheese taste and the fried shrimp were fried nicely but again lacked flavor. It could have been the cook that day because all of our guests orders had no seasoning. Hopefully this helps to improve some of the food items I've mentioned.

We enjoyed some awesome food here today. We had a great table by the window to watch the pelicans during our meal. The house made bread was unbelievably delicious with honey butter. So good? Then we ordered the Maudeen's Filet, medium well...I had broccoli, my husband ordered mashed potatoes. Our server was exceptional? We had a salad too before our meal. The steak was so tender you could cut with a fork and mouth watering. There are no words to describe the flavor...you'll have to try yourself....just so delicious...one of the best steaks we've ever had. We had homemade carrot cake for dessert with cream cheese frosting....omg..tasted like heaven? They also had chocolate cake too. It was such a pleasant dining experience and the decor made us feel like we were in Texas? If you love a great steak, you definitely need to try this place...it's a 10 star place for sure⭐

Five person group, waited 2 hours to be seated. Once seated, service was okay. They said they didn't have enough staff, but customers do not deserve to be treated that way and no apology or discount was offered.

If you have a hankering for steak this would be the place, with a view of the bay. It wasn't busy when we got there and got a table right away.
