Went on a Friday night in April. expected it to be packed, but it was surprisingly empty. Menu looked really good. Service was better than average. Food wasn't very good. Everything on the seafood platter had so much breading it was difficult to tell the difference between scallops, shrimp, and fish, and it was cooked very crunchy. We wanted to like the place, but decided we won't be going back.

We went for brunch during the week. Ordered the oyster tower -(shared by 3ppl) out of this world! And the crab cake Benedict (shared by 2ppl). Still walked away stuffed. Wish the weather would’ve been better to sit outside…next time.

Me and two of my friends were on vacation and visited this place after finding out that they served great brunch (supposedly). There was really no clear direction of where to enter. But we found our way to the hostess stand. When we approached the hostess stand and asked to be seated outside. The hostess was nice enough to sit us outside. However, once we get out there we noticed that after sitting at the table for 15 minutes that no one came to our table. There were several servers passed by but no one stopped or took our orders. My friend had to go back to the hostess stand and let them know that no one had served us yet. Even after 5 minutes of her doing so, when the server finally came over, she was so nonchalant and rude. Never greeted us, introduced herself, apologized for the long wait, she just came over and said did we want waters. I’m not sure what the problem was but if you’re judging because of how we look or what we have on, you’re in the wrong. Once we ordered waters, we felt so out of placed and not wanted so we left. Never will dine there again or recommend to anyone that’s vacationing there. We had a better experience at Ruby Slipper Cafe.

Service was a little slow but once server came she was very nice and very attentive. I guess they were short staffed that day. Everything was great. Definitely recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the ahi tuna salad. The tuna was humongous and perfectly cooked. The service was okay. I really enjoyed the environment and the ambience. I would recommend this restaurant and do plan to return.

The patio was delightfully breezing and semi-sunny. The food, shrimp and grits, was extremely flavorful. The service of multiple waiters was top-notch, especially on the continual refilling of our bottomless mimosas. Everyone seem like they truly enjoyed their jobs.

Took my daughter to dinner tonight here. Really wanted to like it but I will NEVER go back. Started with spinach artichoke appetizer which was okay- chips were nothing special- like Tostitos. Ordered seafood mac and cheese for $27 and literally NO flavor. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Bay scallops were fishy. Ordered shrimp tacos and the blackened shrimp was okay but there was just corn salsa and it said slaw but barely any. Waitress kept water glasses full but she wasn’t very friendly and never came to ask how the food was. Very long wait for food and it was $68 with tip for an appetizer and two entrees, two waters. WAY overpriced for terrible food. Now I know why it’s never busy. Won’t ever go back. Very disappointed and do not recommend.

Took us almost an 40 min to get our food after ordering for a pretty mediocre plate of food for the price.

Went to South Market with some friends from work. The food was decent, the service was good and the atmosphere was a little lacking. Overall, I think I would definitely go to South Market again as their menu showed promise. I had the Oysters Rockefeller. The preparation and cooking appeared rushed, but it had good flavor even though the bacon was too tough to actually eat.

Underwhelmed. Would not return. Came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, not many people inside, I now see why. Food was not great for the price.
