Drive thru only. Food is supposedly authentic Mexican. However, I only have been to about 20 different Mexican food places and only a couple come close. I was told this place was really good. I found the food pretty tasteless and that's pretty hard to pull off when serving Mexican food. Very pricey especially for the quality and amount of food you get. My wife ordered Carne Masada which is steak. We got home there were 3 flauntas and no beans and rice. This was ordered as a meal. The sour cream and guacamole was band. Instead of paying $12 for this you will find Taco Bell much more favorable.

We tried their vegan puffy tacos and vegan enchiladas for February's vegan chef challenge and they were AMAZING. I just wish this place was open for dinner.Vegetarian options: They said they can always make vegan puffy tacos, which are super delicious, although probably not terribly healthy, lol.
Got the Cali burrito with steak. Highly recommend. They always hit the spot.

This is a legit Hidden Gem. Taco Tuesdays are legit nice tacos for 99 cents. I stopped here on vacation. Very fast seating fast food was hot and fresh. Customer service was excellent 5 stars from the waiter Tiyo. He was very laid back knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. Easy to communicate and was quick on his feet. This place is very good. I would recommend it.If I had a negative thing, it was the parking it shares the lot with other businesses. I had to walk several mins to get to the restaurant.
Food is good but they raised their prices recently. With tax, just two Cali burritos were 30 bucks.

Moving from Yuma Az where they had the Best Mex food to Pensacola I thought I'd never find anything even close after trying multiple places here but was told about this place and my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it! Tuesday birria tacos are where it's at!

When we were there outdoor seating was closed. It's just a drive thru. The hunt for good tacos and or burritos in the south continues, this food did not taste good at all. We won't be going back. Staff was friendly.

The very first authentic Mexican taqueria style restaurant in Pensacola! Loyal customer for over 28 years. The owner and daily operator of this taqueria is the Daughter of original owner and has worked there for 28 years! She is an outstanding person and her whole family work there daily! The food is prepared with love and care. Super hot because its cooked fresh to order. Made in-house. Everything I have ever eaten from Taco Rock on Hwy. 29 has been delicious and nourishing. Unfortunately they only offer drive-thru at this time but it is worth every effort to patronize this fine establishment.SIDE NOTE: During COVID lockdowns 2020 Taco Rock 29 offered every kid a free taco or burrito lunch w/drink and NO adult purchase was required! If your kids were not getting fed at school then bring them (one or a car full) every day if you needed to and they would give each kid free lunch. I mention this because it shouldn't be forgotten; it was done out of free will and kindness. It was all God's grace through the good intentions of Taco Rock 29! Thank You ?

Love this place for birria tacos. I decided to go there for the cheesy birria ramen I heard of, but unfortunately, they were all sold out when I got there (1 hour before closing so def my fault). Decided on the tamales platter, and it was delicious. Some of the best tamales I've ever had. The sauce that's on top is spicy and flavorful. I had a spicy sauce container and never even used it. This food was flavorful enough. Nothing else needed to be added except a nice cold drink. Every time I go there, workers are patient and helpful- ranks as the top 3 best customer service in Pensacola. I will definately be back because I need that birria ramen.Please note: this is a drive thru. There are no tables to eat at. I live about 15 minutes away and the food still tasted hot and fresh.

Every time I’ve ever been it’s always been AMAZING! Been coming here for years now. I moved out to Milton and still make the drive sometimes just for that Cali burrito. They’re all such welcoming and nice people. You might be waiting in line for longer than you would say at a McDonald’s but I have no problem with that when I know the food is FRESH every single time. Also an added bonus, they’re always doing specials and adding new things to the menu so make sure you’re checking their social media pages often. Seriously one of the best places in Pensacola, if you haven’t checked them out, you’re missing out big time!
By far the best Mexican food in the county! Service is great and the food is ALWAYS Incredible. They have yet to disappoint. This little place definitely deserves more than 5 stars!
