We were pleasantly surprised to find The Bistro in our hotel. The burger and fries were as good, if not better than most restaurants. After driving all day it made our day being able to enjoy good food and a beer without having to leave the hotel.

Hotel in very poor part of town. No free breakfast 50 bucks for 2 oatmeals and cereal do not eat there. No drinks available except diet and very expensive 4 star price with 1 star service. Wait staff very rude after breakfast went to room to get belongings and housecleaning was already in room at 9am piling our stuff in a pile

Best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone was so friendly. Coco checked us in and made an extra effort to find us a quiet room. I think our room was equiped for wheelchair access, and it was built with a walk-in shower which was very nice. Our room was clean and the surrounding area had great restaurant and coffee options. Breakfast is not free, but Coffee Guy is across the street. Great place for families.

J thanks it was what i needed know W

The front desk associate with a ponytail and tattoo was miserable and incredibly rude. I’m disabled and he denied service which is illegal. It ended up being a blessing. Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and it was far nicer and closer to hospital and dining options.

My family and I had the worst and scariest experience at our Marriott stay this past week. We were staying there with our son's 13u baseball team for a tournament that week. The way we were treated was disgusting, cruel, and extremely discriminatory. The front desk, David, had no customer service & the Manager Cody Beck was extremely hateful, rude, and very discriminatory. On June 30th, we were told by another family of our baseball team that there was an altercation with some of the boys and another guest. Our family and our son were not involved. That night, pizza was ordered for the boys at the lobby. The cops were called & the manager spoke to them. I asked David if he could please put the lights on so the boys would not eat their pizza in the dark. He refused and the manager refused. I could not believe what was happening. In the middle of the boys eating, the 2 cops spoke very firmly & loudly and told us that we had to get out of the hotel IMMEDIATELY. My younger daughter started crying. My husband and I did not know what was happening. It was truly disgusting the way my family was treated, and no explanation was being given to us. My children were confused & terrified. We were from out of town & got kicked out at night. We thought we had to sleep in our car. The situation was very scary and dangerous for us. I have never experienced something in my life like this and specially at a Marriott. To add insult to injury they charged us for the night that we got kicked out.

Our family did not feel safe during our stay at this facility. Our first warning should have been that you have to be buzzed inside. Our room did not contain two beds as promised, and the elevator smelled like marijuana.

Planned trip to Destin Fl when we got there they had given our room to someone else... we travelled from 3pm to 12am that morning. Went to at least 20 hotels they were all booked...So we finally ended up at a rest stop to spend the night... the grandkids were tired and aggravated....So while at the rest stop started looking for rooms online... So we found this room.. they allowed us to chk in early.. The hotel was very nice... staff was nice and understanding which meant so much at that time.... thank yall so much Courtyard Pensacola!!!!

Stopped here because of easy location on and off I10 and pet friendly. Was pleasantly surprised. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful, both check in, and checkout. Because of COVID they did not have the breakfast bistro open - but offered an nice to-go breakfast. There is a large variety and selection of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Pet owners - they were very friendly and there is a really nice large area to walk pets.

Nykeria working the front desk was so polite and wonderful. Thank You so much. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. The room was clean and comfortable. I always use this location.

Even with the challenges of CoVid, I found the staff incredibly welcoming and helpful. This facility is unbelievably clean. Easy access to I-10 and nearby restaurants, great for business travel. I recommend it highly!

This hotel was a blind pick from a third-party application, a mistake I won't make again. I was looking for a good rate because my husband and I were only staying one night. We were driving home from Ponte Vedra, Florida and Pensacola was about halfway. Upon check-in we learned the bistro was closed, there was no breakfast buffet or sit-down service, and the pool and lobby area were closed. The fitness room was closed. There was no housekeeping, The front desk person said this was "due to COVID, " which was ridiculous as plenty of other hotels and restaurants in the area were open. In fact, we'd stayed at a Hilton on the first leg of our trip. It provided all services including a restaurant/bar, lobby coffee for guests, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center and beach bar. We'd read about how Governor DeSantis had recently lifted the restrictions in Florida. Things are still restricted in our state, so we were excited about getting to Florida and having some relief. Apparently the Courtyard didn't get the memo. Our room also had problems: neither of the outlets in the bathroom vanity area worked, so at first, we thought the coffee pot was broken. My husband went downstairs and was told they were not providing coffee either. (Their pathetic "grab and go" breakfast consisted of small packaged pastries, snack bars, a few oranges and bottled water.) What was their excuse for not providing coffee? Likely the dreaded COVID, even though you could go down the street to several other hotels and restaurants and get coffee. Other room issues: the door stuck when opening and had to be pushed hard. The thermostat was wonky. When we adjusted the temperature, it kept going back to the previous setting. The refrigerator had an energy-saving feature that turned it off every two hours. But the worst about the experience was the complete lack of service and the indifference of the staff. When I told the clerk that other hotels were fully open, she looked at me with disbelief. It almost seemed like they wanted us to leave. Why bother even being open when you are providing so little for your guests and are unconcerned about how you're coming across? And if you are going to remain open anyway, then you should heavily discount your rate or perhaps offer a gift card or some other kind of concession. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay here!

Stay Report - 2/27 to 2/28 Location: Do note there are three CYs in Pensacola, this one is located north of downtown about 10 minutes northwest of PNS Airport and just southeast of the I-10/I-110 split. The proximity to both interstates makes it easy to get around. Nearby are a bunch of strip malls, fast food joints, a BJ's and gas stations. Hotel: This is an aging early construction CY that does at least have a renovated exterior. That said it's in really shabby shape and most services are closed. The pool is marked as "out of order" whatever that means, the restaurant is closed, the parking lot is too small, there's only a single elevator and the ice maker on my floor was similarly out of service. This gave the hotel a really shabby feel to it. Check In: I had texted the hotel and was able to get an early check in at 10:30 AM which was very much appreciated. I was thanked for being a Titanium and told I'd get points so that's good. All staff I dealt with was friendly. Room: Standard for this generation of Courtyard. Bed facing the windows, huge couch thing, small desk area but thankfully the essentials: a newer style shower, large Internet TV and outlets near the bed were present. I had no issues with soundproofing or Wifi. Breakfast: Due to the restaurant being closed there's a grab and go bag with a bottle of water, a granola bar and a pastry. Overall fine for my needs but the fact that so much was closed or broken left a bad taste in my mouth.

After staying at thousands of Marriott’s this is the worst welcome I have ever received upon check-in. Had to put luggage down at locked door to wait for Scott to appear. Not even a hello, but a sulking, looking at the floor, what is your name, I need your license and credit card. No acknowledgement of platinum status, no would you like points or market item, not even a bottle of water. Just a angry scowl. I asked for creamer for coffee and was slapped with a pack of coffee and a packet. Asked if they had coffee. “No COVID, have never had cream since he has been there.” Then a very sarcastic “Have a good night.” I was so upset that I reported this treatment to Marriott upon room arrival, regardless it was almost midnight. If not so late, would have checked out and found a different hotel. I guess he has to be on night shift to have minimal customer contact. It is time to stop blaming COVID for poor service! Time to respect customers that are staying in your hotels!
