Excellent food and service. Quality of food is impeccable especially for a dockside restaurant at a popular marina that could coast on location as a tourist attraction. We didn’t try the sushi but diners at the bar around us raved about it. Fish, shrimp and oysters were great. Truly superlative bartenders especially Erika who handled a full bar at happy hour while making drinks for restaurant diners at dinner service with speed and grace. As out of town visitors she made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown) recommended The Fish House. It was fantastic and our waitress Meredith F. was the best!! Not only with our service but also in helping us add a couple of things to our to do list after work hours. We highly recommend.

After being in airports all day, I decided to stop at the fish house after I arrived in pensacola. I went to the bar and asked. Could I place a to go order and the lady at the bar said of course. She was very polite and took my order. I asked the other person at the bar which was a gentleman with curly hair. And I believe his name is Ricky, Roughly, how long would it take for my order to be ready. He said about twenty to twenty five minutes. I asked him if I could sit nearby the bar. And he said you need to find a seat at the bar. I replied there are none he said. Well we are very busy tonight. I could see that the fish house was busy. But does that make me less of a customer because I am Getting a to go order? After standing around a gentleman got up. And I was able to sit down. I waited for over forty five minutes for my order. Not once was I offered a glass of water. I finally asked the young lady if she could check on my order. And when she came out, it was ready. Both of the bartenders saw me sitting there and I feel as if they could have at least offered me a Glass of water. The restaurant was packed, but the bar area had cleared out. I love the chicken from the fish house. So of course I will be back. But I hope that ricky will have a better attitude and the time on waiting for food, will improve.
