We were in town bidding farewell to our son who is a US Navy Sailor before his departure to his next assignment. We found this spot on google maps, saw that it had great reviews, and it also had a mouth-watering menu, so the decision was simple. Our server was great (can’t remember her name?) and the food was AMAZING! However, we didn’t have a good experience with the hostess. She failed to greet us, never smiled, and when a question was asked about the parking out front, she gave a very rude and condescending response. Had it not been because we were pressed on time & needed to get him back to base by a certain time, our interaction with that person would have been enough to have made us change our mind about eating there. By far, she is absolutely the rudest hostess that we’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. In my opinion, this Ruby Slipper location should really consider replacing this person with someone who is friendlier because she gives off a terrible first impression. We visited on Thurs, 4/25 at around 8:45AM.

There’s a reason why there’s often a long wait to get in to the Ruby Slipper. They served up the best omelette I’ve ever had in my life. Everyone I’ve spoken to raves about the quality of the food- I went because a friend who lives in the area said I needed to go. He was right!
Phenomenal food and service! Thank you Rob! I had trouble deciding what dish I wanted so I ordered 2; Banana Fosters French Toast and Migas. I smashed the French toast and only took 1 bit of the Migas. Both were amazing but I just couldn’t stop eating the French Toast. The sauce is scratch made to order; it’s so buttery and delightful. I boxed up the Migas and will enjoy it for breakfast tomorrow. My boyfriend ordered the trifecta and loved it too. He couldn’t finish it all because it’s such large portions. We also ordered the Bloody Mary and the mimosas flight. The Bloody Mary was the best inches in a while. I’d preferred that over the flight.
