Potential for being very good. Went right before they closed so can't fully judge. Corn casserole and sweet potato were cold and old tasting. Sauces were super good. Meat was very good. Service was great and atmosphere was good and clean. If I went early in the day I'm sure the food would be fresh and better!

I posted this review about 2 bullies at this merchant. Because they gang up on doordashers and tell them they must hit confirm before they can get the order. That button is for after we receive the order. And I haven't received it yet. I spoke with DoorDash, I've asked groups, I'm in for doordasher. They all say the same thing. You're not allowed to ask that. This response is a bullying response. Saying, call me and tell me why you think that's bullying.And It is not my problem that other orders we're not delivered properly. I have delivered 4500 DoorDash, orders and never had one complaint. I have good ratings and even if I do hit. Confirm and you do give me the order afterwards. There's still no guarantee. It's not gonna be delivered!!!!All this does is aggravate the doordasher. Because we do have time frames and we'll get violated if we don't get to the merchant and the customer by the time Stated in the app.. So now you have cold food that you have to wait for another door Dasher to pick up . Flashlight, tell the customer And DoorDash. Then I make Reviews. I'm standing up against bully mentality. Because I'm done being bullied. I will not put up with this any longer and I will tell my story. I am a traveling Photo journalist. I'm writing about healing after narcissistic abuse.

New Orleans inspired barbecue. The food is great. It can be a bit pricey, but tastes great. You can jazz the food up to have it spicy. The atmosphere is jazzy & New Orleans like. They have daily specials. I like to go on Wednesday when the special is ribs & baked chicken.

Got kicked out because an employee did not like my friends!!!! Did not even say a word to her, but apparently she cannot function when we are around. They had no problem serving me the day before. Literally did nothing and got kicked out!!

a couple of my friends and i decided we wanted to get food and chose to go to voodoo because we absolutely love this place, well we walked in and where told that we could not be served because we are a distraction to one of there employee, i asked so because one of your employees has a problem with us you are kicking us out and she said yes and grabbed the phone like she was going to call the police

OMG!!!! This place is delicious ?My family & I were out shopping around town on a Saturday afternoon & wanted to try something different for lunch. We say VooDoo just past Target & decided to try it. You walk in & it's very welcoming & smelled soooo good! The menu is never ending, you don't know what to choose. They have everything from gumbo, fried fish, pulled pork and everything in between. They all were nice & answered any questions I had. We ordered and received our food in less than 10 mins. Everything was smoking hot & good portion sizes. The dining room & restroom were neat & clean. You most definitely have to go back more than once to try the entire menu.We love, love, love this place. And i highly recommend it!
Staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. I was disappointed they had already turned the fryer off an hour before closing so some of the sides were not available. The food portions were very small for what I paid and lukewarm at best. Voodoo, if you can get the food to match the service you will be an institution here in Pensacola, until then I will pass.

One of my favorite places to get BBQ and order catering from!???If you like Cajun, Caribbean, and Creole food, this one’s for you!Atmosphere: Most of the time that I’ve eaten VooDoo BBQ is at the office, but I’ve been able to sit down at their location once! The space is set up for you to walk straight to the register and order before taking a seat in the dining area where they have a decent space for seating!Service: Once you place your order, they’ll bring out the food to you once it’s ready! The lady who was working the day I went in was helpful with making a decision for dessert!Menu items: I’ve tried a variation of their meats and sides! Their BBQ shrimp with a side of sweet potato soufflé adds the perfect mixture of sweet and salty, and their brownies have a fun kick to them—drizzled in a chocolate and vanilla sauce!Every time I’ve placed a catering order through them for work, everyone has always enjoyed their meals and the variety that comes with each order. The meat is always tender, and you can consistently mix up your order every time you go!
Let me start the front of the house staff was VERY nice. Then it went all down hill from there. Been wanting to try this place a a while now. The front was nice and clean we arrived about 8pm (they close at 9) we started to order the "graveyard platter" but wanted brisket and advised we were going to have a $4 up charge. A decision was made to go with just the straight 18.00 brisket platter and shredded pork platters. Each came with two sides. When asked about water...we were offered a $4 bottle of Aquafina. Whoa....no I would pay $4 for maybe Fiji water but NOT Aquafina. We opted for the free water. The servings were VERY SMALL for the price. $18 for the brisket as shown with two sides. Six small slices of brisket for that price was offensive. I was shocked. The meat was warm-ish. The beans were steaming hot and the corn pudding was warm. The meat was good, moist but nothing special. No special flavors. Just brisket. The pulled pork was just pulled pork. No fun Cajun flavors and was warm-ish and the beans were hot. I had also ordered pork rinds. You see I didn't have them. When our "platters" were brought to us we were told the oil had been turned off and they were in the process of getting it hot again to make the pork rinds. It literally was 810pm. To turn off the oil this early seems like a miss to me. After I was nearly finished with my meal we were offered a different side since the pork rinds were still not made. Chose jambalaya which was fine, ate more like dirty rice rather than jambalaya. The server was pretty excited to share his "favorite" side. Overall I was pretty disappointed and likely would not return. The servings were not worth the price. Two meals and two waters for $40 bucks was not worth it. Shame. And before you come at me with pitchforks for going a hour before they close that should never matter. If you offer a service it should be consistent no matter what time you show.
